Canterbury Christ Church College, best time of my life....

Advantages: Good courses, good tutors, great social scene, friendly and welcoming
Disadvantages: Accomodation limited

Initially Canterbury Christ Church wasn't top of my list, yet with an unexpected set of grades it was Canterbury that were the first to offer me a place and the chance to visit the campus. I visited for the first time on a snowy December day just a few days before Christmas. As I disembarked the train from London and walked up the High Street toward the campus it was almost picture perfect for the time of year with the old tudor shops ...
...places near the centre of Canterbury itself. Canterbury is a small city but manages to pack in everything that a student socialite needs. I can't say whether its true but I was told that Canterbury has the largest concentration of pubs per square mile than any other UK city. I was also quoted a ratio of 3 females to every male student?! On Campus the student union gets lively on a regular basis and had a good range of DJs, live bands and comedians. ...

The university for up and coming film students

Advantages: Small localized and easy to get to know people
Disadvantages: Needs a more organized library

...is a beautiful place with Canterbury cathedral in the heart of the city. There is great places for students to live with a great night life and several night clubs.
