Initially Canterbury Christ Church wasn't top of my list, yet with an unexpected set of grades it was Canterbury that were the first to offer me a place and the chance to visit the campus. I visited for the first time on a snowy December day just a few days before Christmas. As I disembarked the train from London and walked up the High Street toward the campus it was almost picture perfect for the time of year with the old tudor shops ... ...places near the centre of Canterbury itself. Canterbury is a small city but manages to pack in everything that a student socialite needs. I can't say whether its true but I was told that Canterbury has the largest concentration of pubs per square mile than any other UK city. I was also quoted a ratio of 3 females to every male student?! On Campus the student union gets lively on a regular basis and had a good range of DJs, live bands and comedians. ...

Advantages: Small localized and easy to get to know people Disadvantages: Needs a more organized library
...but thousands of people in Canterbury and the local surroundings. This is a great opportunity to get your voice heard and most radio DJ's today started with their university radio stations.
The courses within the university are very focused, the main areas are, Radio,film and television-Nursing-teaching-sports science and Business. I have heard great feed back from students who have studied these courses in the past and have all recommended it to ... ...is a beautiful place with Canterbury cathedral in the heart of the city. There is great places for students to live with a great night life and several night clubs.
In my first year I lived in Pin Hill which is based opposite east station, it is handy as the night club is only a few doors down which has a host of student nights and a wide variety of nights to entertain even your grandparents. It has easy access to the central lines to London with ...
