Great for living.

Advantages: Nice friendly place with many things to do

Nice view of the Cathedral...

Advantages: excellent view of the Cathedral, graduation ceremony at the Cathedral, intimate town
Disadvantages: social dynamic, expensive, too conservative

This is a haven for middle-class home counties kids who didn't do as well as they ought in their A-Levels. It also sports a large number of foreign students who don't know any better and are quite happy to be ripped-off at the Student Union shop like the rest of us. Without a doubt the grounds of campus are picturesque, though the college buildings (a nightmare of 1960's concrete design) are reminiscent of a nuclear bunker complex....though others ...
...they are pretty ugly. The cost of living on campus is fairly steep, but nothing on the cost of rent in the town. The saving grace of campus is the nightclub/bar setup called the Venue. It is relatively cheap to get in and drinks are fractionally cheaper than in the numerous bars of the town. The music is universally cheesy at the weekend, but every now and again there are live music nights and theme nights during the week which, due to their sparse ...

Brilliant...!

Advantages: lots of good advice, fun and helpful
Disadvantages: not entirely obvious that it exists - 6 clicks away from home page

...across the web site for Canterbury University (www.cant.ac.uk). After reviewing the rest of the universities, I am left with no doubt that Canterbury have the best health web pages. They are very informative, user friendly, eye-catching and fun. Other uni's simply provide opening times of surgeries, or have a link to the Meningitis trust or similar, whilst having no real information on health concerns students may have.
