I daren't even try and pply for a credit card a) because I probably wouldn't get one and b) as they are what got me into trouble in the first place I am staying well clear this time! Now before I started using the internet regularly it didn't really bother me not having a credit or debit card as I pay for everything with cash, that way I know where I am, there is no chance of me getting myself into debt again ...

A great way to have your own Gold MasterCard, if you have a poor credit rating! You can apply online or in one of the 680 retailers around the UK. Tip if you load at one of these retailers your money is available in minutes, rather than the delay of a couple of days at the Post Office, details of the retailers are on their website.
