Great Screen, but a bit chunky

Advantages: Great Screen, swappable battery
Disadvantages: Chunky, limited expansion to Compact Flash

The Casio E125 is the latest evolution of their Cassiopeia range of Pocket PCs, and feature improvements on the already rather good E-115 The first thing you notice about the Cassiopeia is the screen with excellent resolution and colour depth. AFAIK it is the only pocket PC with a 16bit screen (64K colours) the Compaq and HP offerings being only 12 bit (4096 colours) which makes a difference if you want to view photo type images. It doesn't perform ...
...Standard features which Casio highlight include: A faster 150MHz processor. It's difficult to see how this has changed things as the previous model seemed to work fine, but more speed can't be a bad thing, can it? 32MB of RAM - Similar to the other pocket pcs out there, it sound like a lot more than a palm, but the Pocket PC OS need to use more RAM for itself, so it's probably more comparable to a Palm OS machine which might have 12-16Mb (the only ...

A great way to get a Pocket PC

Advantages: built in compact flash port
Disadvantages: can feel bulky for a "pocket pc"

The Casio E-125 may feel slightly bulky in the pockect but that doesnt affect its quality. It has a nice screen and lots of neat features. Forget the pocket pc part of it first and think of the machine itself it has a built in compact flash port. Which already in my opinion put it one step over the compaq ipaqs. This machine with its 32mb of memory is a dream to work with and comes with a usb docking cradle which is so simple to use. It comes with ...

Quite Possibly The World's Worst Product

Advantages: It works... sometimes
Disadvantages: Sometimes it does not work, better options available

...also seem to like the Casio Cassiopeia E-125. Why? I have no a clue, but to each their own. Remember, some people actually think OJ is still innocent. I purchased the E-125 about two months ago after swearing I would never own a PDA. I found that I really needed one in order to keep my appointments in one central place. Too often I found that I would make a note on my internet calendar, but forget to put it down in hard copy for home or rode usage. ...
...the complaints. Yes, of course, Casio has a full group of dorks named Burt or Harry waiting with baited breath to solve your PDA problems. However, you do not have someone sitting beside you who can walk you through some of the less complicated problems. Keep this in mind. The concept is the same as if you forgot how to spell the word 'hello'. What would you do? Well, you could look it up, call a friend, or ask someone nearby. Usually (I hope), you ...
