...TV viewing just as portable? Casio EV-570 has "TFT Active Matrix" liquid crystal drive system that uses transistors to control each individual pixel. The result is high contrast and fine detail that rivals the picture quality of the standard TV picture tube. The EV-570's picture turn-off feature allows to retain the battery's power. The TV takes 6 AA batteries and they last for up to 8 hours, which is excellent.
Sound isn't the best thing with this ... ...was really distorted that I could here much at all. But this can be avoided! If I were you, I would use headphones. It is the in built speakers which make the sound distorted and headphones are the best way forward. And yes, there is a volume control. The instructions guide is limited. All there was was a slip of paper telling me how to insert the batteries. This is not good enough really. But with logic, using the TV is easy, apart from the following:

This TV is good when you stay still and get a good signal, otherwise it is a nightmare. If you do not get a good signal straight away you are going to have it tough.
Also, on any battery it just about lives for 1 hour if that. Then the screen quality gets very poor, even at the best of signals.
The design is well made and modern.
The channels are not in order so you have to work your way through the stations once or twice to get the one you are ...
