Casio QV R3

I got this camera about a year and a half ago, and it hasn't decreased in price since then. On the outside, it's a very smart-looking piece of equipment - I loved the fact that felt heavy and robust - the shell is completely made from metal, whereas many other digital cameras I saw felt plasticy and tacky. It's also a very good size - small enough by far to slip into a coat pocket or handbag. The zoom lens is adequate for most pictures at 3x optical, ...
...With this camera, you are able to manually set it up to take more professional artsy shots, but since I'm not a serious photographer (and don't have a clue) I've never really played around with this much. All the normal features are present on the QVR-3, including self-timer, movie recording (no sound), clock/calendar and LCD screen. There is an internal memory of 11MB, and a slot for SD/ cards. I bought this as my first digital camera and have been very happy with my purchase. It's small enough to take out wherever I go but feels as though it is well built. I've droped it a few times and it still works fine. It produces good quality photo's in most situations. It does struggle with action shots as there is quite a delay between pushing the shutter and it taking a picture. Also it doesn't take quality photo's when the light levels are low. ...
