Advantages: Always gets eaten Disadvantages: Embarrassing to buy
Cesar - for man eaters who rip your throat out? No, the key thing is the missing letter 'A' in C(a)esar - less the emperor of the world than a little yappy thing. When I tell you that this stuff started out as 'Mr Dog' I think you get the picture...
Cesar is a dog food that comes in either tins or plastic containers with peel off lids and it's exclusively for the smaller breed of dogs as it includes a special yap proof ingredient...either that or ... ...bits.
For small dogs, Cesar is excellent food and ours have never turned their noses up at any of it (apart from when they're well stuffed) and we've been buying it for about fifteen years. We've found it to be the one dog food that on the whole doesn't get wasted and does at least keep the little terrors from giving us too much jip.
Oh yes, don't tell Captain Buckett about this treat, or he'll be scrounging tins (see my op on Urine Therapy for ...

Advantages: Tasty well so the puppy says Disadvantages: dearer than other brands but worth it
...now she has switched to Cesar which seems to be suiting her very well. The reason we chose Cesar is because our last dog Tara which we lost a few months ago was a fussy dog and she liked Cesar.
Cesar comes in different categories for different sized dogs. Cesar Junior, Regular, and Senior. There is no need for additional supplements as Cesar contains everything your dog needs. Even so a little treat now wouldn't go amiss
Cesar can be bought in ... ...I get a feeding time Cesar is a very good puppy/dog food indeed. As i stand at the sink and open the tub the smell wafts its way through the house and in seconds I have an energetic little puppy pawing at my legs. Now i know that puppies just eat and eat but dividing the tub into four over the day is plenty for a small puppy. Dividing it into 2 portions will suffice a small dog.
So from Tasha it's a BIG thumbs up for Cesar in both taste and value. ...

Advantages: My pampered pooch loves it. Disadvantages: A little more expensive than most. Only suitable for small dogs.
...to find a flavour of Cesar that Bobby doesn't like, and (now, this is really really sad - and I apologise in advance) just like in the adverts, we've put a bowl of an alternative type of dog food next to Cesar, and there was just no contest. Bobby didn't even look at the other dog food.
Our dog loves the stuff, and although it's a little bit more expensive than your usual brands, and the smell of some of the wierd and wonderful flavours tend to ... ...worth it just to see how grateful Bobby is after he's wolfed the lot down.
You only get just enough in each carton to feed a small dog, so if you have anything larger than a Westie or Jack Russell, you'll need a couple of cartons at a time, and that will cost you small fortune.
So why does the little dog get his dinner as a priority? Easy, he's learned that when we go shopping and he sees us unload the carton of Cesar, if he runs round and round ...

Advantages: they like it Disadvantages: pricey, terrible wind
...are two draw backs with cesar as far as i am concerned, number 1 being price, it is so dame expensive in comparison with other dog meats. Never mind we will give our pets what they want.
The second draw back is Wind, my goodness, it could knock an elephant off of its feet, apart from that I have no complaints.
So a definate yes for cesar from my doggies. ...

Advantages: popular with our dog, range of flavours Disadvantages: fairly expensive
...That's why i chose Cesar. Cesar dog food comes in eithe tins or foil packets and my dog definitely prefers the foiled Cesar. Although these are quite expensive (around 60p each), a small dog shouldn't need more than one a day, so it's not too expensive when you work it all out. The Cesar packets come in a variety of different flavours (some with veg in). I think one of the reasons our dog likes it is that the chunks of meat are in jelly which adds ...

Advantages: Good quality Disadvantages: Quite expensive for small tin
My dog absolutely loves this food - which is a bit worrying considering hes a Boxer. Because my dog is quite large he can go through 10 of these little meals a day! You would probably be better buying this dog food for a small dog as the portions are small, this food is also very expensive for what it is. It is a great quality food though, and my dog loves it. The meat is great quality and it is soaked in gravy which makes it even more tasty for ...

Quick review of Cesar
I have 2 small dogs and i buy Cesar wet food and have been happy. This time I bought 4 cases of the new product slices and my dogs will not touch it they would rather do with out. It says slices but it is just a gravy mess. I wish I could speak to someone at Cesars and see what they have done. My dogs eat two dishes per day of the regular product. I was very disapointed. ...

Advantages: looked tasty- good chunks of meat, veg & pasta Disadvantages: very rich
...brought a few trays of Cesar for my dogs a special treat at Christmas time. The trays are very small so I had to give my Golden Retriver 3 at once to make up a meal, where as the just the 1 was enough for the Westie.
The food looked and smelt pleasant. It actually looked like real chunks of meat and had vegetables and pasta in it too and a thick gravy. My dogs, even the Westie, who is a very fussy eater, wolfed it down in a second and spent almost ... ...sure they hadn't missed anything.
A couple of hours later it had gone right through the Westie, he had an upset stomach and terrible wind. But the Goldie was fine. Prehaps this was because they had not eaten it before (but are always fine with other new foods) or that the food was too rich.
Either way I wouldn't buy it again. It was very expensive (especially if you have large dogs to feed) and they were both looking for something else to eat soon ...

Advantages: cheap quick , like fast food Disadvantages: unhealthy for dog
Dog threw up multiple times after eating a Cesaur Cusine package.
It includes "Meat by products"----meat from roadkill and already dead pets.
Also beef-by products which are beef swept from the floors.
Lets face it, we all know fast food is not the best quality of food to eat for humans. The equivalent of fast food for dogs are most of the dog foods out there. Those DOG MEALS that cost under a damn dollar. So stop being cheap, if you love your ...

Advantages: It's food for your doggie Disadvantages: Costs too much!!!
My last dog refused to eat anything other than Caesar as he had been fed it from the start. It does look good but the price is horrendous! I certainly wouldn't advise people to start feeding their puppies on this brand - my dog became addicted to it and turned his nose up at anything else you gave him. The price certainly mounts up, especially if you have a large dog! I am sure that there are other dog foods out there that are just as good, and I ...

Advantages: the right amount for the smaller dog Disadvantages: expensive
when the vet told us penny had to go on a diet we switched to Ceasar and now she is a happy little dog
penny is a jack russel and the first small dog we have owned - being used to larger dogs we tended to overfeed her
poor penny quickly became overweight and the vet ordered a diet - small amounts from larger tins did not work well and much food was wasted
then we discovered Ceasar in small handy sized packs with lots of different varieties - now ...

...to dirty her teeth, but cesar does not. i really do recommend this, especially for the owner, as it is very easy to take out of the soft tin packaging, and has a can pull mechanism, and the shapes makes for easy storage, and is easily crumpled to save room in the bin. good value for something convenient and tasty[ says my dog, not me i've never the stuff myself- honest!]

...fish food!!!.But will he eat cesar and the answear is no he wont touch the stuff!!!. It was his birtday and he was a year old and next door bought him a can of Cesar as he was a genral unwanted visitor of their sand pit but some how they still loved him At a price of around 50p a serving it is realy exspensive and i thought he is bound to enjoy evely meaty chunk of it. I dished the food out for him , he went to eat it, sniffed it and then ran off ... ...so i scraped it into the bin and bought him a new one but diffrent flavour but the same happened again so i scraped that into the bin and then stuck to his normal meals which are Pedigree chum dried food and Pedigree chum original as his main serving but somtimes he is treated to a Whiskars pouch!!! ...
