Advantages Advantages Very gentle, no fragrance, bottle lasts long time, price, does not irritate or break me out

Disadvantages Disadvantages Slight stinging when skin is irritated from exfoliating or harsh weather.

***Why I want the product*** My last cleanser Quinoderm Facial Wash although a good cleanser for skin that is prone to spots stopped working after a while for me but I continued to use it, mostly because I knew it did not irritate my skin, I felt it cleaned my skin well and it was cheap so I kept with it. That was until I noticed my skin getting more sensitive to products that I realised I needed to change brands, Quinoderm for example after I cleansed my face I would be red afterwards. I thought about going back to Avene Extremely Gentle Cleanser but as always I fancied a change but knew I ... more

Advantages Advantages Gentle, cleanses well, doesn't irritate, leaves skin feeling hydrated

Disadvantages Disadvantages Doesn't remove all make-up that easily

For years I’ve been locked in an enraging battle with my skin; at age twenty-six I’d like to think that spots would be a thing resigned to my past, but frustratingly that does not seem to be the case. I have dry skin, yet I still get spots and recently I’ve also started to notice some fine lines too – honestly, how is this a fair way for things to be? In my quest to find a solution to calm my skin, I recently tried the oil cleansing method, but despite online reviewers raving about its spot clearing benefits, as sod’s law would have it - it caused me to get spottier. However, it was while I ... more

Advantages Advantages Clear skin, smoothness, No more acne,

Disadvantages Disadvantages None unless you have allergies to any of the ingredients.

The Product Okay so this is a skin care product to help with acne problems. Such as all the others. Only this one doesn't dry you skin like I have experienced. It is a cleanser made particularly for dry and sensitive skin. It's in a liquid form which is better than foam or such in my opinion. My Experience I've been using it for about a year now, and my skin has improved more than 70% Sure I get the occasional pimple but that's rare. I think this is better than any other of the wipes or foams or creams I have used before as this isn't as harsh on your skin. Other stuff seemed to burn or ... more

Advantages Advantages Works really well, gentle and very effective

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I occasionally suffer from skin breakouts, particularly at certain times of the month and this is when I use a great gentle cleansing lotion called Cetaphil. This cleanser is specifically intended for people with dry and/or sensitive skin. Though I don’t have a skin that is particularly sensitive, it does have some dry patches which can be a bit of a problem. This gentle cleanser is non-drying and suits my skin type down to the ground. I have used this cleanser over the past two to three years, whenever my skin is suffering. It’s simple and easy to use. I just wet my hands and face and gently ... more

Advantages Advantages Good for sensitive skin, non soapy, hydrates/smooths/moisturizes the skin.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None.

My skin is definitley not the best of skins. I have spots, dry&oily skin, eczema & my skin is extremely sensitive. After buying drugstore and high end facial cleansers/soaps I was tired as none of them worked for me. The claimed that they did this and that- and they may do- but on my skin, they didnt. So, my doctor recommended this to me (I did NOT buy this, this product is on a prescription, so I got it for free). This cleanser has a neutral PH balance, which is extremely good for the skin, it is not soapy so even if it does go into your eyes, it doesn't really hurt at all. I feel that it ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very Gentle

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slightly Expensive

I absolutely love this skin cleanser. I'm somewhat of a product junkie so I am constantly trying new cleansers. I've recently experienced a mild case of adult acne, forcing me to consult with a dermatologist about products that I should use and mine recommended this Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and I have to say I'm very pleased that she did. Many cleansers tend to be very harsh and often lead to dry, irritated and peeling skin. On the other end of the spectrum are the cleansers that leave your face feeling as if you didn't wash it at all. Cetaphil's Gentle Skin Cleanser doesn't fit into ... more

I use this product in two ways - either to wash my face in the evening with warm water, or quickly sweeping it over my face with a cotton pad if I'm in a rush. I think both ways work extremely well in cleansing my face and getting rid of all traces of my make-up. I think it's very gentle on the skin and really cleanses deep down into my pores. I've noticed my skin has become a lot clearer after using this for a few weeks. I've also found that it doesn't irritate my skin or leave it feeling rough or dry and dehydrated after I've used it. After using I just use a normal moisturiser and my skin ... more

4 Stars Pretty Good Review with images 20/03/2013
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Hydrates Dry Skin, Calms irritated skin, Takes off makeup well

Disadvantages Disadvantages Feels like it doesn't clean oil well

Good for very dry skin. Not good if you have oily skin because it has the texture of a moisturizer. It feels like it doesn't clean the oil off of your skin but it does. If you like the super squeaky clean feel after you wash your face, this probably isn't for you. It does however take of makeup pretty well. If you have a skin condition then it might not calm down your skin enough but it doesn't hurt anything. Good for acne prone skin but probably not for very oily skin. Doesn't make you break out though. Overall I t is a pretty good product and it definitely is easy on the skin. It won't make ... more
