    Starting At The Beginning My obsession of Coco Mademoiselle started a few years ago. I sampled it in my fiances Aunts home and was rather jealous of her collection of Coco Mademoiselle products. I received the body lotion which I loved and desperately wanted to own a bottle of the fragrance itself. It was always the first fragrance I sprayed when at a Chanel counter or in my local Boots store.     Before I go into any of the details of this review, I need to mention that I refer the the EDP (Eau de Parfum) version of this fragrance. Generally, different perfume concentrations used to mean just that - different percentages of the same combination of perfume oils, and different quantities of alcohol. It could happen that the different alcohol ratios could make the respective versions smell slightly differently on some people. But that was all.     *****Background***** A couple of years ago an old boyfriend bought me a a bottle of COCO Mademoiselle Perfume as part of my christmas. I remember thinking at the time wow..... must have been expensive. You dont dare ask when its a gift do you. The reason why I was a bit shocked was we had only been together a couple of months.     Overview Coco Mademoiselle is a perfume from fashion house Chanel and is definitely considered a premium fragrance at a premium price. The 50ml bottle costs in the order of £80 and you can get it from a limited number of places such as Boots and large department stores. Places like Superdrug and Savers do not stock it, possibly due to the high price. Someone passed this on to me as they didn't like it at all, I used that and have had two further bottles given to me for Christmas in the last couple of years.     Everyone has what is their signature perfume, that perfume that you know is just them. Dior's Poison will always remind me of a dear friend who practically bathed in the stuff. CK Obsession will always be my little Sister and Chanel no 5 will always remind me of my Mum when I was a small child. For years Givenchy's Amarige was my perfume of choice it was my signature perfume.     As an avid fan of anything Chanel when this fragrance first came out and it hit the shelves here in Coventry I had to have a bottle of it to add to my ever growing collection of perfumes of course! I literally begged my Mother for it for my birthday but because of price I was amazed I actually got it lol! It's been around now for a good few years and I had it even before the fabby advertising with Sophie Dahl was about! (I always knew I had excellent taste lol).     Whilst out doing some Christmas shopping I was offered a free sample spray of Coco Chanel perfume. Upon returning home I thrust my wrist at my husband to get his opinion and mentioned to him that I wouldn't mind a bottle as I quite liked it, knowing that he was shortly going away on business to Bahrain I hoped that if I hinted heavily enough I may wake up on Christmas morning to find a bottle in my stocking.     As I have gotten older, my taste in perfume has become rather expensive, much to the disgust of my other half!! I love the Chanel range of perfumes and am lucky enough to own a couple in the range, one of these being the Chanel Coco Mademoiselle perfume. I was fortunate enough to receive this as a gift a while ago, and the bottle is still going strong now as this is far too good for a day to day perfume, and so it only comes out on very special occasions.     My long-standing favourtite perfume has to be Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette Spray. The bottle is quite plain looking with a lift off lid and a vaporizer spray beneath coloured in dark gold. The bottle is made of high quality glass, completely transparent, so I can clearly see the rose coloured perfume inside the glass bottle. This is a gorgeous floral perfume, which is classy and sophisticated and suitable for a wide range of occasions, from daytime right through to evening.     I love wearing perfume and have quite a large collection. One of my favourites is chanel coco mademoiselle. I have been buying this perfume for as long as I can remember and recently treated myself to a new bottle form a duty free shop on the way back from India. As far as I am concerned coco is a very classy, beautiful scent and one I will be buying again. Coco mademoiselle was first launched in 2001 as part of the Chanel collection.
