As you may have understood I am very very passionate about make up, I have tried most of the known brands and a few of the unknown ones so over the years I have slowly build up a strong personal opinion on some of them. I am a make up artist and have bought the most ridiculous amount of make up in my life. This, without a doubt, is the best eye shadow set i ever bought. I bought it when I was living in Japan about 6 years ago as the selection wasn't that brilliant over there. I thought that it was a rip off in terms of money though I was desperate for some new shades so thought I would give it a go. Don't underestimate the value for money of designer make-up. The prices they charge are relative to the work gone into developing the product. "But it's only eye-shadow"..i hear you say. Well yes and no. Chanel's eye shadow is baked in a kiln, which means the powder doesn't crumble after a month or so. the depth of the colour pigmentation means less is definitly more..so this means that a pallete of four colours has lasted me over a year..!!! yes a YEAR..!!
