    Friends is a US sitcom which took place in New York from 1994 - 2004. The show was based on Six friends and their life’s. The show was on for Ten years and never lost its touch. It is a Channel 4 show and shown on C4 and E4. ***CHARACTER HISTORY*** Monica Geller (Courteney Cox Arquette) was a neat freak.     Advantages Advantages amazing actors, eppy's and humour.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages They're not consistant.

    I have always been a fan of friends from as far back as I can remember, I would have only have been three when the first ever episode came out, so I can't say I watched it from the start, but I came into the show around the 5th season, which ironically is my favourite. It's a simple concept, 6 friends and their lives, with is situated around a coffee house, simple but it works, the writing and the jokes are incredible, but the best thing about the show are the actors, I think they made it what it is today.     Friends – a group of six people who hang out together, have relationships with different people (and each other) and generally appear to enjoy life.     Everyone knows what Friends is, and if you haven't heard of it - where have you been for the past decade?! If I had to sum it up in one sentence it would be: it's a light-hearted American sitcom following the daily lives of a group of six twenty/thirtysomething friends living in New York. It is hugely successful - the cast's pay hits the £800,000 mark per episode, and advertising in the ad breaks runs into hundreds of thousands in the US. I don't know anyone who dislikes the show!     Advantages Advantages Don't worry if you missed any of the old episodes, the new ones seem to be identical

    The rules of this drinking game are simple; invite all your friends over, add to that enough alcohol to make Big Brother blush and tune in to channel 4 on Friday night. Then each person writes down an event expected to occur many times in one episode of Friends on a scrap of paper (Joey says something stupid or Monica behaves in her usual obsessive-compulsive manner) and puts it in a bag. Each person draws out one event each and very simply must drink each time that event occurs.     Over the last few years Friends has surely been one of the best TV shows around, it's highly entertaining and really great to watch. The TV comedy has now been around for a grand total of 7yrs and in that time 7 series have been made and shown on national television, the famous cast are now in the middle of recording series 8 which many people including myself are looking forward to!     I know there have been lots of reviews of Friends but as its my favourite TV programme I have to review it. Friends mainly revolves around the lives of 6 characters. They all live in New York and tend to meet up in either Monica or Joey's apartments or their favourite coffee shop Central Perk. Brief descriptions of the characters follow: Monica Geller Monica is like the Mother figure of the group.     Is it time to break up the friendship? It may be harsh reality, but I think it is time for the bubble to burst for our 6 musketeers. We all know the format, 6 friends, 3 girls and 3 blokes living virtually in each others pockets. They've been through college together, they've done this that and the other.     Friends is one of the longest running American citcoms ever! It's a comedy about 6 best friends and their life in the Big Apple. (New York!) The 6 friends are- *Monica* Monica is beautiful, but a compulsive cleaner. Monica works as a head chef, and once cleaned 7 dirty cars outside her apartment!     Ciao are a bit out of date - E4 now show all the new series. Got no friends!!!Well, now you have six, they are called Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Monica (Courtney Cox Arquette), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Joey (Matt Leblanc) Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Ross (David Schwimmer).
