More than just shirts...

Advantages easy to use website, good quality clothes

Disadvantagesmay not be in everybody's price range

"Charles Tyrwhitt was a brand of shirt maker I first came across in the mid 1990s, when they started advertising in The Times, and I remember sending off for a catalogue. Unfortunately my budget back then didn't run to Charles Tyrwhitt shirts - now they form a very substantial part of my wardrobe - and as I travel a lot for business I am always needing business shirts. It was in 2004 that I rediscovered them, this time online under the guise of www.ctshirts.co.uk, ..." Read review

Suited and Booted Review with images

AdvantagesQuick Delivery; Price; Fit and Cut

DisadvantagesConstant sale slightly misleading?

"...a number of things that Charles Tyrwhitt seemed to offer that would make this less of a possibility. First up is the Jermyn Street address. Rightly or wrongly this brings to mind some old bloke who has been measuring and enjoying inside legs since 1932 and can tell from a photo the exact size and fit of suit you need. Of course if you look at Tyrwhitt's contact details everything is based elsewhere in London, or in Milton Keynes, but they must ..." Read review

Classic Shirts - Excellent Service

AdvantagesQuality, style, excellent customer service

DisadvantagesNone

"Charles Tyrwhitt (pronounced "Tirit"!) are renowned for making tailored shirts for men (and more recently women). Their flagship store is in London's Jermyn Street, off Piccadilly, but they also provide a mail order and internet service. CT pride themselves on quality and customer service and both these factors are very evident. I originally went to the store to buy a shirt for my brother. At apx £50 a shirt, they are expensive. However, the ..." Read review

Quick review of Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts

"I have been a customer since the 1990's mainly buying shirts. I've found that the quality of the articles, particularly the leisure shirts, is not what it used to be. The older shirts are still as goog as new, but the newer ones have, after a few washes, lost that little something that made me become a customer all those years ago.

Highly recommended!

AdvantagesVery good quality, affordable prices, excellent service, impressive returns policy

Disadvantageswebsite sometimes acts up

"Having ordered from Charles Tyrwhitt for about a year now I must say I'm very happy with this company. Very good quality (have only tried their shirts and ties). Affordable prices (especially during their reoccuring sales). Excellent customer service (have tried both via email and over the phone). Unbeatable try/refund offer (you can return any product without questions within 3 months for a full refund - regardless of what you've done to ..." Read review

Quality stuff

AdvantagesGood value sale offers

DisadvantagesExpensive

"My initial reaction to Tyrwhitt (apart from worrying how to get a Yorkshire tongue around the name) was that they were expensive shirts. However, they do run exceptionally good value special offers quite regularly and this is how I came to be a fairly frequent customer of theirs. The website is very user friendly and the graphics give a very good representation of the products. On the first page you will be resented with whatever special offer ..." Read review
