Advantages: The Price Disadvantages: Leaves hair feeling sticky
...I decided to use Charles Worthington's protection spray as it was relativelt cheap, only £3.99 at your local Boots. Also I have used some of his shampoos before and been pleased with the results.
However this spray is a totally different matter! The results were not good! It's very easy to use: Just wash and blow dry your hair as normal, then section off the hair, spray onto each section of the hair and then run the straightens through it et voila...straight ... ...really strong hairspray and that is the last thing I want my hair to smell of..I would prefer a fruity fragrance not something that smelt as if i had sprayed a whole can of hairspray over me!
When applied to the hair it has the same effect of hairspray it makes the hair go hard and stick together. This is before even running the straightening irons through it, not very promising. Once the the hair has been straightened it makes your locks feel and ...

It is recommended to use it with another Charles Worthington products but Im not going to buy any of them. For me its a poor quality product which is cheap because it doesnt really works. So I dont recommend it to buy. ...

Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Extremely sticky, no effect on hair.
...strolled into Boots, I thought Charles Worthington's 'Stay Smooth' looked promising, althought it had never been recommended to me.
Its Only £3.99, so the price is definatley an advantage to the product. The directions were simple enough: blow-dry hair smooth, spray throughout hair and run straightening irons from root to tip.
I loved the fragrance (I have to admitt that I have sprayed it as body spray a few times, I wouldn't advise this to anyone.)
... ...my hair. Not the most thrilling experiance.
It is protection spray, but I can't tell wether my hair is being protected or not...I just hope it works in that area.
It made my hair no straighter than if I use my straightening irons without the product.
I would not recommened this product to anyone, although its cheap its not worth the hassle.
I suggest buying a different product, which may provide better results. ...

Advantages: Helps to keep hair straight Disadvantages: Leaves hair sticky
Charles Worthington products were recommended to me by a friend. My problem was that I'd started straightening my hair every other day and I was worried about the damage I was doing to my hair. So with my newly told advice I headed for Boots. I was quite pleased to find that they had a 3 for 2 offer so I wasn't too worried about paying £3.99 for a 200ml bottle.
The 'Stay Smooth' collection from Charles Worthington comes in blue plastic bottles. ... ...through your hair).
Weighing up the good and bad points of this spray I'd have to give it 3/5, I would recommended you try this producrt but buy the Takeaway size in case you don't like it.
