Advantages: Results, price, quick to use Disadvantages: None
I’ve been buying Charles Worthington Take Aways Frizz Taming Serum for a while now, in a futile attempt to make my hair do something vaguely like what I want it to do. I went to buy myself a new bottle the other day, but when I arrived in the shop I realised that I was only buying it out of habit, and in fact it is a complete waste of money. I decided I needed to try something new, but after looking through shelves of over-priced serums and sprays, ... ...products a chance. I chose Charles Worthington Take Aways Hair Healer Intensive Leave-In Conditioner and here’s my verdict…
The conditioner comes in a 50ml bottle with a pump action top to get a small amount of the product out at a time. When I bought it I actually thought it was in a cream coloured plastic bottle, but when I used it I realised that the bottle is transparent plastic, the cream colour is the conditioner. The writing on the front ...

Advantages: Excellent for very dry ends Disadvantages: May make roots greasy
...products from the salon of Charles Worthington.
I recently had highlights done, and while I’ve been delighted with the way they look, I had forgotten how harsh these kinds of chemicals could be on your hair.
Before, my beloved Lush Trichomania solid shampoo left my hair in perfect condition. Since the colour though, my hair has become very dry and needed a helping hand in the conditioning department.
I popped off to my local Boots and perused ... ...the small but perfectly formed Charles Worthington “Results Take Aways” range.
This range is exactly the same as the Results salon formulas, but in smaller, more affordable quantities. There are 23 products in the range, including conditioners, hairsprays, waxes, serums and shampoos. My very tiny local Boots store stocked nine or ten of them, all priced at £1.50 each. They are marketed as beauty products “to go”, handy sizes ...

Advantages: long lasting, leaves hair smooth, silky and soft Disadvantages: may make scalp a little greasy if you use too much.
...of the product, and the Charles Worthington name and logo are on the front, with the instructions and ingredients listed on the back - I’m not listing them all, its enough I think to say that like most conditioners, it contains lots of chemicals. As I said earlier it’s pump action, and being only a 50ml bottle would be ideal to take away on holiday with you (It would probably be very good at helping to combat the effects of sun and sea too I would ... ...but as I didn’t buy it, I am not totally certain, and like most things this price is bound to be different according to where you buy the product. I don’t think this price is too bad, even though this is such a small bottle, because as I say, each application needs to be tiny. This bottle is going to last me a long time! ...

...around £4.99. All Charles Worthington takeaways are available in Boots, which is where I purchased mine. They're quite often on a 3 for the price of 2 deal, so try and pick them up and grab yourself a bargain!

Advantages: Leaves hair soft, cost Disadvantages: Slightly sticky if you apply too much
After having a disastrous experience after getting highlights, I'm always on the lookout for amazing products that changes my hair from straw to sleek & shiny...
This small bottle does exactly what it says on the tin.
Ok, the bottle is small, it's part of the takeaways range, ideal if you just want to try a product, or for holidays, and has 50ml of product, which doesn't sound like a lot, but considering I only need a couple of squirts, and my ... ...The bottle itself is see through, with a pump action top. The conditioner is a slightly sticky, thick liquid, and I apply it by rubbing it on my hands, and then over my hair, smoothing it down. I then comb it through, and I find that it does make a difference. This is a leave in conditioner, so doesn't need washed out. It has a slightly clinical smell, but it's not overpowering, and I can't smell it on my hair.
If you apply too much, it can leave ...
