There is then a double-page spread of a ‘snippet’ of the book which was about a pirate ship and chief… The pirate then finds a treasure chest inside of which is a book…
Again a double-page spread of a little of Goldilocks and the Three Bears and Baby Bear finds Goldilocks ... ...all of the characters join Charlie Cook in the room where he is sitting on a cosy chair reading his favourite book.

Advantages: You will want to read it Disadvantages: You may have to read it over and over agin
...What is about? Charlie settles down to read his favourite book and he reads you the first page of his book, the first page of his book is about a pirate who walked the plank, swam to an island, dug for treasure and he finds his favourite book. The next page in the story is a section out of the pirate’s favourite book and you guessed it the next page in the story is a section out of the next book. Each page section of the story is about someone's ... ...Charlie. This means the books are going round in a circle; my daughter spotted this after a couple of reads.
Illustrations
Like most of her books this book is illustrated by Alex Scheffler. Alex has done each page justice, each page looks like a page from the book it is from, the magazine page looks like a magazine page and the encyclopaedia looks like a page from this book. Even the book from the prison has a torn corner page so it looks like ...
