Disadvantages ITs Huge, and greedy for Gas
There’s nothing small with this Truck. The Chevy Astor is a 4.7L vortec engine with 190hp and tons of torque. Astor’s been around for a while now ever since the 1990s. Now GM has decided to stop making them as of 2005 I don't know why, but they just are. I’ve own one since 1996 and no major problems happened as of yet. Its one reliable truck, just did oil changes and other basic repairs. Astor’s are good if you have a big family. 7-8 passenger and lots of room. It’s safe and fun to drive. The LT version comes with leather seating (option) and DVD/TV. All these options give the passengers a ...

Big space, highest towing weight, good on gas, excellent vision. drives like a truck though if that is a negative, I would buy again if they still produced them, heve been tying to buy a 2005 to replace my 99 but never any for sale.

Advantages Its size
I have always loved the idea of owning a American Car.I thought that they would be expensive to run. The Insurance was £200 a year cheaper than for a Rover 620si, we have also found that it does not use anymore fuel than the rover did.We have got 4 children between us so we needed a big car/people carrier to fit us all in.We have got plent of room to fit us all in and the comfort is outof this world. With a yank you get air con as standard also the heating is better than in the cars over here.As for parts if you join a car club you can get a discount on parts and get them sent straight from ...

Disadvantages OVERTAKING (LHD)
I AM A FEMALE DRIVER OF THE ASTRO VAN & I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I ENJOY DRIVING IT EVERYTIME I GO OUT. ITS LUXURIOUS, LOADS OF SPACE & A GOOD ALL ROUND VIEW FOR ME TO SEE.ITS CHEAP ON INSURANCE & TAX & MPG IS NOT OVERALL BAD(about 28mpg). THIS 7 SEATER VAN TURNS INTO A BED AT THE TOUCH OF A BUTTON & IS IDEAL FOR OVERNIGHT STAYS. WOULD ADVISE JOINING THE FORUM FOR LOADS OF INFO (www.astrosafari.co.uk) BEFORE BUYING AS THEIR IS SOME DODGY TRADERS OUT THERE & THEY CAN HELP.I WISHED I HAD FOUND THIS SITE BEFORE BUYING WOULD OF SAVED ME BIG GARAGE BILLS WHEN I FIRST BOUGHT. This van is the most easy to drive and good looking vans I have ever had ! The best thing I like about it , is that it's big enough for me to put some masive speakers in so I can listen to my wicked music that I have recorded on CD ! Well there is allot more stuff you can use it for because of the shear size of it. It also helped me when I was moving house ! I also use the van to transport my bands equipment . And we have loads of stuff. Even with allot on weight in it , it is still easy to drive ! So if you are thinking of spending money on this all I can say is GO FOR IT ! ! ! ...
