...and have been eating these chicago town pizzas since feb (started as a craving!!!) and believe me i have eaten alot!! The problem is with these is that i don't think you could find a more unhealthy pizza!! The other problem being that i myself eat them far too regulary, and when i do eat them, i make a fat b*stard of myself and eat them both!!!!

...Pizza's at the moment and Chicago Town Cheese Deep Pan Pizzas are one of my favourites.
Packaging
These pizzas come in a normal cardboard box which is primarily red with a picture of the pizza on the front (which looks very appealing). The Chicago Town logo is written across the front and underneath that is written Deep Dish Triple Cheese Pizza.
Price
I buy these pizza from Tesco where they normally cost £1.65 for a box of two. At the moment ... ...box which is excellent - my freezer is now full of them!
The Pizza
The thing I like about these pizza's, is that they are mini size so could make do as a snack - although admittedly, I do tend to eat both of them at the same time because I'm a pig! The pizzas are probably about 5 inches across (at a guess) and each packet contains two mini pizzas.

...i thought i would buy Chicago Town's 2 Deep Dish Ham & Mushroom Microwave Pizzas, being Microwavable and quite small i thought they would be ideal for my kids and they were on offer as buy one get one free, which was ideal as i have four kids.
As i say they were on offer in my Iceland but the usual price is £1.99 per box of 2 pizzas. I think they are generally around this price in all stores and can be found in most stores with freezer departments.

...you want to know about Chicago Town Triple Cheese Pizza’s that is.
I quite like pizza’s y’know, but being vegetarian a good pizza, for me, is hard to come by, sure you get a cheese/cheese and tomato pizza, or a triple cheese, but what kind of pizza is that, boring I call it and not much of a vegetarian option, so I don’t buy them, well I never used too. These are about the size of a CD, slightly larger perhaps, and come in packs of two (sometimes four for the price of two). They are a deep dish base and by the look of the back of the pack you can get six different flavours. They cost £ 2.99 (ish - I have been meaning to keep a receipt when I’ve bought them but have failed to do so), and can be bought from most supermarkets. There ...

...very enticing image, with the Chicago Town logo looking menacingly at you from the left side of the box.
Setting the microwave on the highest setting for three minutes, I put the first pizza in, using the thoughtfully-provided individual cardboard tray to save on washing up later. Having established in a previous op that one pizza of this size will not satisfy the appetite, I am cautious when hearing I will have to cook them separately. The microwave ... ...re-acquainted with an old friend. Oh dear. The topping has spilled over the sides of the tray. Looks like that washing up will have to be done after all. To add to my disappointment, since the microwave base plate wasn’t too clean, all the topping that has oozed onto it will have to go to waste.
Now the pizza looks quite ridiculous. A baked bean sauce colour of orange all over, except a tiny yellow patch in the middle, it isn’t looking ...

Chicago Town Pizzas have to be one of my favourite. I much prefer these to the big boxed pizzas you can buy from the supermarket. These pizzas come in the following flavours:
Triple cheese pizza; a blend of cheeses which is very yummy!!

...in just three minutes. Bliss! Chicago Town pizzas have long been at the head of the market. Whilst I’ve enjoyed most of the varieties, I thought I’d write an op about the basic cheese ones (actually promised as “Triple Cheese”) as they form the basis for all the other flavours.
The pizzas generally cost about two pounds for two – this seems good but of course remember they are small; no more than 5 or 6 inches across compared to a standard takeaway ... ...and a 2-pack of these Chicago Town ones for the same price. Now – prepare yourselves folks – let’s go back to school. The area of a circle is pi times the radius squared. So the radius of a 12 inch pizza is 6”, square that and multiply by pi (let’s not get distracted by pizza pie please …) and after some faffing about with a calculator we get a total area of about 113 square inches. However the Chicago Town range at least makes an effort. Let me first point out though, that Pizza should always be eaten fresh, I have yet to experiance the sheer salivatory delight you get from any (Domino's, Duke's, Pizza Hut etc etc) of the fresh baked chains around from the frozen slab you byt at the supermarket. The dough is never as doughy, the sauce is never as rich, the topping is never that elusive donsistancy of chewy mozzerella and crisp ... ...The best thing about the Chicago town Pizzas is the sauce, its spicy, abundantly supplied and does not soak completely into the dough and hide like it does in many frozen pizzas.
