Advantages Advantages Keeps little one entertained! removable musical playtray

Disadvantages Disadvantages Easy to climb out of for those extra flexible little ones..

When we decided our little man was ready for a walker my father in law insisted on buying one for us. I am guessing he chose the Chicco DJ Baby Walker because 1. It looked very safe 2. It was reasonably priced and 3. Because it was just what my baby would have loved (colourful/musical) What a brilliant choice my father in law made… I think he paid around £40 for this at Mothercare and I do believe it was on special offer at the time. Around summer 2010 my son was 6 months old, I personally thought he was too young to use the walker at this age – I wanted him to become a bit steadier in his ... more

    Advantages Advantages Great mover

Disadvantages Disadvantages Instructions could of been better.

Buying Decision I bought this walker in particular, because I had heard so many great things about it on this review website (CIAO). Apparently it was a good mover and had very nice tunes to play. These were an understatement of all the little things it can do. Firstly, lets talk about why I was looking to buy a baby walker. Well my daughter Isabella is just over 8 months and is always trying to pull herself up and walk around the furniture. She is very strong on her legs and hates just being put down to sit. She goes all stuff, like a plank of wood when I try to sit her down! So I decided she ... more

Advantages Advantages Aid for learning to walk, fun (removable) activity tray, easy to adjust the settings, easy to clea

Disadvantages Disadvantages My son would rather be on the floor once he got moving, Quite expensive

I got this walker second hand for my little boy when he was around the age of 6 months. He was really trying to be more active and was rolling round but not getting very far. I was recommended to get a walker by one of my friends and went on the hunt for one. I managed to pick this one up (Chicco DJ Baby Walker) for £20 . I picked up the Chicco Dj Baby Walker and was impressed with the bright colours. It comes with an electronic toy tray that has different activities to keep baby entertained including lights, sounds, piano keys, buttons and levers. I popped my little boy in it when i got him ... more

Advantages Advantages Allows baby pre-crawling freedom - they love it!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I wasn't sure if it would be worth spending out on this, but we bought it for our 5-month-old son last Christmas and it turned out to be the best £40 we'd spent for ages! Basically our son hated sitting in a bouncy chair and needed a lot of entertainment to be happy at that age, which was quite exhausting. This walker literally changed my life. Once my son realised how to get the thing moving he absolutely LOVED it - and bingo, there was finally somewhere safe I could put him while I did the dishes! The walker gave my son the freedom to go where he wanted to go long before he reached the ... more

Advantages Advantages Entertains little ones for hours

    Disadvantages Disadvantages mine broke quickly

When my daughter turned 8 months i looked into buying a Walker to help strengthen her legs ready for walking. I had a good look around and to be honest only chose the chicco walker because of the price. I picked it up from Mothercare for £40.00. Once home i began assembling. It was very easy to put up as the majority of it was just clipping parts together. I did struggle to fit the seat on, it has clips which hold the seat on tight, these clips need to go into a slot and flip shut. I found it very hard and had to get my partner to do this bit. Once up i put my daughter straight in and she ... more

Advantages Advantages folds, washable seat, great activity tray

Disadvantages Disadvantages hard to clean keyboard, need to concentrate when altering height

My baby loves this! Its basically a baby walker suitable from 6 months. it is height adjustable and foldable and the activity tray pops out leaving a tray you could use for feeding. The activity tray has various activities a baby this age can easy play with and move themselves, including a joystick, a drum, beads on a wire, a page to turn and a keyboard. there are 3 settings, 1 animal noises, one plain musical notes and the other a combination of the two. Any activity the baby touches or moves makes a noise. This sells for £40 in most stores although i got mine second hand from ebay for £25 ... more

Advantages Advantages height adjustable, machine washable seat cover, sturdy/strong, toy panel can be seperated

Disadvantages Disadvantages a little tricky to adjust height and flatten for storage but easy once you know how

I bought this walker for my little boy who is now three and he used it loads, he enjoyed the multifunctional musical/sound panel which is detatchable so can be used as a seperate toy when baby is not in the walker which I think is great as even when the walker is out grown they can still use it as a toy! I put him in it at 6 months of age and found it secure, I wasn't worried he would fall out or it topple over as it is very well made and height adjustable so you can position it to suit baby. He found the seat comfortable and enjoyed the freedom of being able to try his feet out without ... more

Advantages Advantages Removeable play tray, fully collapsible.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Large as are most walkers.

Advantages: Removeable play tray, fully collapsible. Disadvantages: Large as are most walkers. We brought this walker after watching it being demonstrated by 'Kiddicare' on 'You Tube'. Before this we hadn't realised quite how cleverly designed it was. For starters the toy tray with the flashing lights and knobs is removeable and underneath it is scooped out - perfect for snacks for the baby on the go and without ridges and holes it is easily wipe clean. Because it is removeable we were able to use our toy tray on the floor for the few months up until our little one was able to go in the walker ... more

    Advantages Advantages low volume button

    Disadvantages Disadvantages High volume button

I bought the Chicco Dj Baby Walker from Littlewoods catalogue for £45. It is very colourful and bright. It has a removable tray which comes with detachable straps so that you can attach it to a pram or buggy. The seat cover is also removable so that you can take it off and hand wash it. The dj tray has 6 activities on it that is suppose to represent a keyboard, drum, songbook, dj spinning deck and 2 other random things, one being a mushroom shaped thing that you can press and a handle shaped thing with two beads that go from side to side, the keyboard has five keys which all have animal faces ... more

Advantages Advantages height adjustable and the musical toy can be used away from the walker

Disadvantages Disadvantages instructions could be clearer

I have found the Chicco baby walker really good for my 5 month old son, it has a range of bright colours all over with a tray on top so they can either have food on it or the musical toy that comes with the walker. The musical toy is brilliant, it has a keyboard which makes different noises and all other buttons and things to pull to make noises, my son loves it and is amused for ages. The musical toy can also be used away from the walker, so it was like getting a 2 for 1! It can also be attached to the side of the cot with the additional straps also provided with the walker. The only downside ... more
