Advantages Lasts for ages, smells great
Disadvantages very expensive!

About five years ago I went on holiday for a weekend with a really good friend of mine. I noticed immediately that her perfume was absolutely gorgeous and really strong (in a good way). I borrowed it one day, and could still smell it lingering on my clothes a couple of days later. I had to have it, so I went online and bought it - Christian Dior's Pure Poison. I managed to buy 100ml for £56 online which is VERY cheap compared to shops where you can expect to pay as much as £80 if not more. It is available in 30ml, 50ml or 100ml. Disappointing Dior 12/11/2011

Advantages Nice clean fragrance, pretty bottle
Disadvantages Doesn't last long, a very flat smell, not as impressive as it should be

When I was much younger I had a very sophisticated older friend who exclusively wore a Dior perfume, I can't remember which one now but at the time my one ambition in life was to find a Dior fragrance to make my own. And to shag Charlie Sheen. While I can't say I had much success with Charlie (after all, I'm not a porn star) I have eventually got around to purchasing my first bottle of Dior, in the shape of Pure Poison. This is a fragrance that I would have to class as just a little bit special. To me it stands alone, away from the multitude of other fragrances that we might be familiar with. 2004 saw the launch of Christian Dior Pure Poison following the original Poison which was released in 1985 and Hypnotic Poison which was launched in 1998. Christian Dior is one of my Favourite Designer Brands and I love the Clothing even though it is beyond my affordability. I saw an advertisement for the Dior Pure Poison Perfume in the Train Station and I thought it looked really nice because of the colour of the bottle and I figured that buying this perfume would give me a little piece of Dior without a hefty Price tag. This is by far my favorite perfume of choice. I used to be a regular wearer of Christian Diors J'adore, and was introduced to this by my sister, and I instantly loved it. I still love it to this day and I am hard pushed to find anything better than it. It has a very classy, sopihisticated smell to it, which isnt overpowering, yet it lasts for hours and can easily lift your mood with just one sniff. Disadvantages Pricey and portion of perfume doesn't last for very long!

Pure temptation! Such a sensual, sexy, sophistocating, seductive and rich aroma , yet such a teasing price!! I have bought this product twice, both times at Boots and for approx £25 (I'd say this was the medium size of box compared to the others on the shelf). I purchase this as a present for my mum occassionally, purely because I can't offord to pay this much for, to be honest, a rather small portion of perfume! Poison by Christian Dior Eau de Parfum, price ranges online from £45 upwards and £80 upwards for the larger size bottle I was given a bottle of Poison by my hubby, a gift from the duty free shop on the cross channel ferry! He doesn't know his perfumes, but he does like familiar names, and fortunately for me he had heard me mention Poison in the past. This, for me, is a night time / evening perfume. Pure Poison by Christian Dior, an interesting name for a perfume I thought, and one that I definitely had to sample. On initial spray, it was very strong and I wasn't too sure it was for me, but it was one of those perfumes that you continue to sniff as time passes and it takes on a different form, and you end up liking it more and more. Pricing This depends on how much you would like in the bottle, generally with any perfume i think it's the more in the bottle the higher the price. The one i purchased was £43.00 but they also list other prices on boots as: 50ml: £50.00 100ml: £83.00 when checking the prices i also noticed they had the deodorant on there for £23.00, i have this and love it. It smells just like the bottle; may be a better option if you don't want to spend much other stockists include debenhams, the perfume shop, beauty base and other dept stores.
