Advantages: colour, texture, lasting power Disadvantages: a considerable price
The Dior Rouge series of lipsticks is advertised as the equivalent of Haute Couture for your lips. They aim to combine two sought after features that often seem to be mutually exclusive with lipsticks. They are long lasting, without causing the usual dryness of some long lasting lipsticks. Instead they have a creamy texture when first applied, and they leave the lips soft throughout.
The packaging is very luxurious for "just a lipstick". It comes ... ...logo and the product name. The tube itself is also metallic navy blue on two opposite sides and black with a carved criss-cross pattern on the two other sides. A silver band bear the name Dior and the initials CD are on the top side.
I'm putting my review in this category as it is the shade that I really want. For intense red to look right, the texture, lasting power and other things, have to be right as well. My current one is called "438 7th Art ...
