Advantages: Cheepish Disadvantages: Did not cover me for what I had asked for
I had a quote from chirchills mainly because I had car insurance with them & that had been very good value.
I went through my exsisting policy with the Tele Sales person & they came back and said they could do the same cover for £40 less, Great I thought and soon as my exsisting insurance ended I signed up. This has been running now for 2 years & recently I have had a accident at home & needed to claim. To my surprise I was told I was not covered ... ...policy was & I had asked for it.
I told the claimes person the full story & he checked back and found my original quote and yes it was for accidental damage, but the new policy was only for standard cover.
I asked well don't you record your conversations for security perposes etc.
Yes the man said.
"Great I said get it out & listen to it because on there you will see I asked for the same cover as my last policy".
They said they would find it ...

...attached need careful consideration. For that matter so did the quote. It was not the best and whilst Churchill were very competetive when they first came into the market it would seem they no longer are in the top bracket. I found better cover for less elswhere so keep looking. ...

Advantages: quick and efficient claims handling Disadvantages: check all is covered
Due to unfortunate circumstances in the last 3 months I have had a car stolen and a break in to my house. These things are usually extremely stressful, however I have been amazed and surprised at just how quickly and efficiently my two claims have been handled , with the break in I recieved a cheque in 3 days for the jacket and wallet, for the cds I now have alist with their CD replacement company who will deliver later this week, When the car was ...

Advantages: No idea as no one answered the phone Disadvantages: Why won't any one answer the phone.
