Before I carry on with the review, I must confess to being a French car enthusiast, previously owning 205 and 309 models. I drive a Mini One and a classic Escort amongst other cars. However, I will try not to let this colour my writing on this particular car - which is owned by my girlfriend. I bought a metallic green Citroen Saxo Forte 1.1 3dr in April 2000 for the princely sum of £6k which was £1200 off the list price at the time because no-one seemed to want metallic Woodland Green. It has been a very reliable car - now done 45K miles and apart from one warranty niggle (airbag light faulty) and the stepper motor having just had to be replaced it has been fine.
