Advantages: Great smell, leaves you with a lovely texture and great shine. Disadvantages: Price, its reasonable but i need it cheaper. Student prices ;o)
...and uses no animal by-products.
Clairol grow their herds under certified organic conditions – a big healthy green house that is good for the environment. Body shop wana-bee’s by the sounds of things. They use no “Petrochemicals or pesticides”. Now we all have heard of pesticides, chemicals sprayed on the plants to stop insects feeding on them and harms animals. But petrochemicals really baffled me. So, I decided to research ... ...you and browse the other clairol sites. There is also an online shop in conjunction with the site so you can buy your hair care online, the address of this site is www.herbalessences.com its bright and colourful and matches the shampoo's image so it is a great marketing extra.
FINAL NOTE
I love this shampoo is leaves you with a fresh feeling and makes my hair all fluffy, it also smells really great and I find the bottle lasts along time. That is ...

= = = BACKGROUND INFO = = =
We all love a bargain, don't we? BOGOF offers are always welcomed, as are buy two, get the third free offers. Nothing quite beats a freebie though, does it? Well, it was about 6 months ago when I went through a phase of searching all the freebie sites out there. I came across quite a few websites offering freebies, right here in the UK. How chuffed was I?
Anyway, I sent off for quite a few freebies. I then awaited the ... ...some more. Sadly, 99% of the freebies I'd sent off for never turned up. However, this lil' package arrived one day. I eagerly opened it to find two mini bottles of shampoo. (Or, more precisely, one bottle of shampoo and one bottle of conditioner). These mini-bottles are so cute, containing just 45ml of shampoo/conditioner. Anyway, I did what any self respecting lady should do, and that is to eagerly take a whiff of the new shampoo. My first thought ...

Advantages: does exactly as advertised and the smel is *ohh* orgasmic Disadvantages: hmmm erm... if you find one tell me
I first stumbled on this wonderful, wonderful product purely due to the fact that my boyfriend uses it. I smelt his hair and became obsessed. Now all the ladies know that men are smelly unhygienic creatures, so once I got over the shock of finding one that wasn't, I had another smell just to make sure my senses weren't deceiving me. I inhaled deeply to find that no, I hadn't lost my mind or sense of smell and it did smell gorgeous.
When you first ... ...to look like too much of a weirdo (or obsessive, if they are different things). I didn’t want to say hmmm where did you get that shampoo else I’d probably have looked like a bunny boiler buying all the same cosmetics as my boyfriend, and he’d by on the first plane to Alaska. So….. I asked quite politely, and somewhat suggestively if you’d like to know, if I could use his shower. And there it was (imagine dreamy scenes off corny films, steamy shower ...

Advantages: Clears the grease and grime away brilliantly, works for several days. Disadvantages: Does not treat dry end problems
I purchased this shampoo because I have hair that is greasy at the roots and dry at the ends. I also have very long hair and it gets greasy at the roots within a couple of days of washing, therefore, I needed a shampoo that was gentle enough to use on a daily basis but which would also improve the greasiness in the long run.
I had obviously seen the adverts on television, making out that this was some kind of orgasmic shampoo and it would attract ... ...that grime right out of your hair. I have to admit that these adverts did entice me to take a look so on our next trip to Asda off down the shampoo aisle I went. I quickly found the one I was after, uncapped the bottle and inhaled deeply. I have to tell you that the fragrance of this shampoo is absolute heaven and it will make you want to wash your hair forever. This shampoo has the essences of natural Rosemary, Jasmine and Orange Flower and it is ...

I first tried this about 3 months ago and I love it. The statement on the bottle says “leaves your hair feeling refreshed, revived and full of shine”. I have to completely agree with this statement, it has worked wonders on my hair as it tends to be a bit on the greasy side. My hair really does feel clean, soft and silky after I’ve used it. It doesn’t quite give me an orgasm like it does the woman in the advert…..but ... ...in colour and I love the smell - flowery and fruity, as you would gather from looking at the ingredients of rosemary, jasmine and orange flower! All of the ingredients are derived from pure renewable plant sources which are grown in organic conditions…no pesticides, petrochemicals or animal by-products.
The bottle is both attractive and practical. The flip top lid opens easily and snaps firmly shut so, if like me you tend to travel around ...

Advantages: Gives hair a deep shine Disadvantages: The smell
The screeching of the herbal essences adverts has always got on my nerves, so much so that I made a semi-conscious decision never to buy any of the herbal range to show my disapproval! My mum had made no such decision however and when she saw a 1.90, 2 for 1 deal she decided that she would buy the clarifying shampoo. I reasoned that with the product already bought I might as well give it a go, especially as I had, had success in the past with residue ... ...that my shampooing experience would produce any advert worthy material. Although alot of people seem to like the smell, I found that it smelt like cheapo penny sweets (the wedding ring shaped ones to be precise) and although thats all well and good for sweets I didn't relish the idea of having my hair smell like a corner shop! It just has a very sickly sweet fragrance which isn't to my taste, but as I've said others seem to like it and as the fragrance ...

When you think of a shampoo you think well who really cares what you use to wash your hair they all do the same job. But the thing is i dont really care myself but i like to try different ones out and this one the Herbal Essences is the best yet. It smells nice, it gives your hair more life and it really gives your hair a good clean wash. Then when you get out the shower you can feel the difference to other shampoos. Advantages: Great Smell Disadvantages: Dried out my hair really badly
I bought this product half on advertising and half on the smell (which I adore). However , I found that it dried out my hait excessively.... and I mean excessively!
I experienced so much breakage that I had to cut my hair from waist to shoulder length :( .
The smell is still divine though...
Another problem I faced was with my scalp. I have a dry scalp condition that is under control, more or less. With this shampoo,My condition was HORRIFICALLY ...

My Favourite Shampoo
=====================
This was recommended to me by my hairdresser, who I have been going to for a few year's now. Because my hair has know pigment in it, it seem's to attract all the muck that is around. I really look like a shaggy dog before the hairdresser get's her paw's on me. If you had seen my hair before I got it cut, you would have thought, "she's dyed it yellow". My pupil's used to say that to me. I would not use ... ...I have trouble brushing it, but, after using this. No trouble with it. The Smell.
It smell devine, the aroma is a smell of outdoor fresh flower's. It glides through your's hair cleaning very root's and after rinsing feel's so cleam and soft.
The Packaging.
Strong plastic bottle with green top, and the shampoo is a very light green. Bottle stand's about 7in tall 250ml and the price, well safeway's was giving two for one at £1.99 great value. Starting ...

Advantages: leaves hair really clean Disadvantages: none that come to mind
I originally got this product as part of a prize from a magazine and I've been using it ever since. The bottles attractive and the shampoo smells good. It leaves me hair really clean which many shampoos don't do for my greasy hair. This shampoo is good value for money with a fairly large bottle for around £2 which I find lasts me ages (its often on buy on get one free offers in boots etc.
I also like the fact that its made with natural ingredients ...

Advantages: Smells good Disadvantages: That's all it does
Herbal Essence shampoo is a good shampoo. It does leave my hair refreshed and smelling good, but I think that’s all it was for. It doesn’t actually leave my hair clean like I thought it would. It doesn’t even leave it shiny. I think this shampoo was made, purely because it smells good, and the smell stays on your hair all day. That’s it. I bought it when I saw the commercial, because it said that it cleans and refreshens hair. It does refreshen, ...

I have naturally oily hair and have always been worried about it. Im always trying out new shampoos & conditioners, so when i bought Herbal Essances i thought to be just another shampoo. But it really works, not only does it smell divine, but my hair is envyed by all. People are always coming up to me and asking what i use on my hair. for once, i did not try this prroduct because of it's interesting or clever marketing techniques because, in my opinion, the latest 'herbal essences' advert was not a good way to sell a product !!!
i was in a shop and i happened to be smelling shampoos and i picked up this one and had a quick sniff...and i was in love !!! it was gorgeous and i bought it straight away ! usually, the leading brands in shampoos for oily or greasy hair either smell ... ...thought i had to give it a go purely because it smelt so good. i have quite greasy hair and with most shampoos i have tried, they just don't help. i find myself washing my hair eveyday to get rid of the grease, which is no easy task as i have LONG hair ! i tried this shampoo and, once it was dried, i kept a close eye on it to see how long it would last. my hair felt gorgeous and silky which i loved and it smelt gorgeous. it also kept the grease away ...

Advantages: Smell and not stickyness and how it cleans Disadvantages: Bottle shape is very basic
I tried this product a couple of years ago and I was really impressed. Usually with most shampoo's after a days or two my head starts to itch but with this shampoo it did not (good start I thought). The bottle is not fancy or anything but as long as it is good to my hair, who cares!!!???! There are different sorts of the shampoo you can buy, to me they all smell the smell the same. Being a bloke you would of thought that coming out smelling of flowers ...

Advantages: Transforms your hair!Makes it light and soft too. Disadvantages: .....?
I can't quite put my finger on what it is that I love about this shampoo....could be the amazing smell, reasonable price, lightness I feel, softness.......there are loads of reasons!
I first brought this product (or should I say my Mum brought this product!) 4 or 5 months ago, and it has been my favorite evr since, even with all the new shampoos that come out regularly. I was extremely impressed with the product right from the start. The smell is ... ...few days too. It also lathered in well and washed out very easily too.
After drying my hair I realised how sudenly light it felt, but soft at the same time.
The best thing about this product is that my hair took much longer to reach the greasy stage and i therefore do not have to wash my hair so often.
I would recommend this product to those that find their hair is greasy, but also perhaps slightly dry at the ends too. ...
