Advantages Advantages Smells nice and makes my hair smooth.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Bad packaging and still no orgasm

Well by now Ciao must know about most of my washing routine... so what harm will another hair product op do heh... Today I present to you my present daily conditioner Herbal Essences... The variety I have says that it "protects coloured/ permed/ dry/ damaged Hair". Well... bits of my hair is coloured... It is NOT permed but I have a natural curl... It has a tendancy to become dry...although I don't think it is damaged... 2/4 ain't bad! The bottle also says that it contains Thyme, Wheat germ oil and Vitamin E and mountain spring water... ooo-oo-ooo. I will start with one of my main gripes about ... more

Clairol Herbal Essences conditioner As I said in my Clairol Herbal Essences shampoo opinion, I bought this because it was on a ‘buy one get one free’ offer. However it does cost £2.19 on its own for 250ml. You can buy it for many different hair types but I bought the dry/damaged version as my hair does get quite a lot of abuse from me!!! The conditioner doesn’t come in a funky bottle as the shampoo comes in but it comes in a baby pink bottle with a green lid to match the writing on the front. The bottle is made from 25% post consumer recycled plastic and it is recyclable so for those who ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells really nice, and I mean 'really'.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Lame adverts.

Yes, I admit it! I’m a serial hair abuser. My hair is coloured. I use a hairdryer all the time. I’m just too impatient to wait for it to dry on it’s own. On top of that, I have fine hair, so I’m expecting a lot from a conditioner. For years I’ve used Body Shop Banana conditioner and been happy with the results. I have rather dry, sensitive skin, so I’ve always had to be careful what products I use. I wasn’t looking to change conditioners, but, in simple terms, I ran out of Body Shop brand and wasn’t going shopping again for at least a week. Too long to survive without washing my hair, so I ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells lovely, leaves hair soft and tangle free

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I've done a review of the Herbal Essences shampoo and thought I aught to do one of its partner, the conditioner. This is my favourite conditioner, I've probably used it for longer than any other conditioner I have bought and don't see myself wanting to try a new one ever. Admittedly I do use the herbal essences intensive conditioner once a week, as a treat for my hair, but this is the best everyday (or every other day in my case) conditioner I have used. My hair -------- I have long hair, about half way down my back, and it tends to get very dry at the ends so I always chose shampoo and ... more

Clairol’s Herbal Essences Protection Conditioner for coloured/permed/ dry/damaged hair contains natural organic thyme, wheat germ oil, and vitamin E in mountain spring water. It comes in a pink plastic bottle, which has a green fliptop lid for easy use, and contains 250ml of the product. The Product ----------- This conditioner has a rich thick creamy consistency with a pleasant light aroma, which reminds me of the fragrance of wild strawberries. The end result of using this conditioner are extremely good – it leaves my hair soft, silky, very shiny and healthy looking, especially ... more

I can't believe that I haven't written about this conditioner (or the shampoo for that matter) before now and as I have been on here nearly two years and this is my favourite brand of shampoo and conditioner. First let me tell you what the bottle looks like and says on it, well it is opaque and very pale pink with a dark forest green top that is easy to open and has only come off once in the many years I have been using this product. On the front of the bottle it states "Clairol Herbal Essences with Botanical shine complex" and "protects coloured/Permed/Dry/Damaged hair" also "with thyme ... more

Advantages Advantages Makes your hair silky and shiny!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I started using this conditioner a few months ago and I haven’t used a different one since! I dye my hair quite often so I needed a conditioner that left my hair hydrated and silky. This conditioner really did that for me. When I first used it, I was shocked that any conditioner could leave my hair feeling so good. I could feel how silky and smooth my hair was the moment I rinsed it out! I also have quite frizzy hair. This conditioner turned my hair from frizzy and fly away to beautifully silky and shiny! The smell of this conditioner is nice too. I don’t like my hair to have to ... more

    Advantages Advantages Actually works!

OK, so they were way off the mark importing their "Urge to 'Erbal" campaign to the UK! I mean, how much research would it have taken to discover that the British pronounce the "h"? Am I the only one who gets really hacked off every time the ad comes on? Maybe I watch to much TV. Anyway, to the point: if you have coarse or curly hair, buy this conditioner. I'm a hardened product junkie, who can't resist a bit of flash packaging, but since trying this one I've only deviated once (see my review of Nutrogena's totally ineffective new conditioner to see what good that did me!). It comes in a good ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells lovely. Widely available. Cheap.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Didn't have any impact on my hair.

Okay so I’m always talking about my hair, I class my hair as an asset - I must admit I do love my hair! It’s naturally curly, shoulder length and a bit ‘early Scary Spice’ (her only decent feature I must add). Haircare has been a bit of a luxury to me since I was in my late teens – I always used the best of the best. Today I’m not so well off and I just can’t justify £8 - £10 for a bottle of hair conditioner. I searched for high street priced hair conditioner for my hair type and decided to give this ‘Clairol - Herbal Essences’ a go. I purchased this conditioner from Tesco for £1.49 but I do ... more

If you have seen the advert, I think its a little extreme. Who do you know who is really that affected by a shampoo? I find myself wanting to tell the girl on the TV to get a life beyond the contents of her bathroom shelf. Anyway, having said that though, the shampoo is pretty impressive. As is suggested on the advert, it really does smell nice, and has a sort of scent that wakes you up in the morning in the shower and leaves your hair semlling the same way during the day too, in fact until you next wash your hair. As the name is 'Herbal Essence' it obviously smells herbally, which is a nice ... more
