No urge to come out of the bottle

Advantages: Smells nice and makes my hair smooth.
Disadvantages: Bad packaging and still no orgasm

...weight and blind guesswork! C'mon Clairol people... If you want us to buy another bottle when this one is finished then you have to help us out when we try to figure out how close we are to the end of the bottle! My other gripe is also related to the packaging... Once you get about halfway through the bottle then it takes a while and a bit of persuasion to get this stuff out of the bottle. When I am showering in the morning I don't want to get up ...

organic hair

Disadvantages: can leave your hair greasy

Clairol Herbal Essences conditioner As I said in my Clairol Herbal Essences shampoo opinion, I bought this because it was on a ‘buy one get one free’ offer. However it does cost £2.19 on its own for 250ml. You can buy it for many different hair types but I bought the dry/damaged version as my hair does get quite a lot of abuse from me!!! The conditioner doesn’t come in a funky bottle as the shampoo comes in but it comes in a baby pink bottle with ...
...The bottle is made from 25% post consumer recycled plastic and it is recyclable so for those who recycle, its something else you can take down to the recycle bins The conditioner contains natural thyme, wheat germ oil and vitamin E. They are added into natural mountain spring water so it’s all pretty organic. All the herbs and botanicals are grown under certified organic conditions so no petrochemicals or pesticides are used which could cause damage ...

FOR SERIAL HAIR ABUSERS.

Advantages: Smells really nice, and I mean 'really'.
Disadvantages: Lame adverts.

Yes, I admit it! I’m a serial hair abuser. My hair is coloured. I use a hairdryer all the time. I’m just too impatient to wait for it to dry on it’s own. On top of that, I have fine hair, so I’m expecting a lot from a conditioner. For years I’ve used Body Shop Banana conditioner and been happy with the results. I have rather dry, sensitive skin, so I’ve always had to be careful what products I use. I wasn’t looking to change conditioners, but, in ...
...wasn’t going shopping again for at least a week. Too long to survive without washing my hair, so I went to the local convenience store. There I came upon Herbal Essences for Coloured/ Permed/ Dry/ Damaged/ Abused/ Mis- Handled/ Neglected/ Badly Treated/ Unappreciated Hair. OK, so I added a few of my own but you get the idea. 250ml cost me £2.19. My Body Shop stuff now costs £4 for the same amount but I can dilute it, so it probably works out much ...

The best my hairs ever been

Advantages: Smells lovely, leaves hair soft and tangle free
Disadvantages: none

I've done a review of the Herbal Essences shampoo and thought I aught to do one of its partner, the conditioner. This is my favourite conditioner, I've probably used it for longer than any other conditioner I have bought and don't see myself wanting to try a new one ever. Admittedly I do use the herbal essences intensive conditioner once a week, as a treat for my hair, but this is the best everyday (or every other day in my case) conditioner I have ...
...have long hair, about half way down my back, and it tends to get very dry at the ends so I always chose shampoo and conditioners specifically designed for dry hair. The protection conditioner is aimed at coloured, permed, dry or damaged hair and whilst my hair is not coloured or permed I would agree on the dry, and possibly on the damaged side. I often find that conditioners for dry hair just don't moisturise my hair enough (is that a term you can ...

Time after Time again

Advantages: the smell
Disadvantages: None

I can't believe that I haven't written about this conditioner (or the shampoo for that matter) before now and as I have been on here nearly two years and this is my favourite brand of shampoo and conditioner. First let me tell you what the bottle looks like and says on it, well it is opaque and very pale pink with a dark forest green top that is easy to open and has only come off once in the many years I have been using this product. On the front ...

On the back it goes into more detail about the above and gives you directions on how to use it too "apply to wet hair, leave on as desired and rinse thoroughly." This is my favourite and as such I keep coming back to it. It smells so great and looks good too because, being pink, it ...

From Dry To Silky And Smooth

Advantages: Makes your hair silky and shiny!
Disadvantages: None

I started using this conditioner a few months ago and I haven’t used a different one since! I dye my hair quite often so I needed a conditioner that left my hair hydrated and silky. This conditioner really did that for me. When I first used it, I was shocked that any conditioner could leave my hair feeling so good. I could feel how silky and smooth my hair was the moment I rinsed it out! I also have quite frizzy hair. This conditioner turned ...
...and shiny! The smell of this conditioner is nice too. I don’t like my hair to have to much of a smell to it. Herbal Essences conditioner has a very natural smell to it and it isn’t too sweet like some conditioners I have used in the past. At about £2.19 a bottle this conditioner isn’t really that expensive. I have used some conditioners in the past that haven’t worked nearly as well as this and have been over twice the price! ...

OK, so they were way off the mark importing their "Urge to 'Erbal" campaign to the UK! I mean, how much research would it have taken to discover that the British pronounce the "h"? Am I the only one who gets really hacked off every time the ad comes on? Maybe I watch to much TV. Anyway, to the point: if you have coarse or curly hair, buy this conditioner. I'm a hardened product junkie, who can't resist a bit of flash packaging, but since trying this ...

Smells Nice But I'm Still All Frizzy!

Advantages: Smells lovely. Widely available. Cheap.
Disadvantages: Didn't have any impact on my hair.

Okay so I’m always talking about my hair, I class my hair as an asset - I must admit I do love my hair! It’s naturally curly, shoulder length and a bit ‘early Scary Spice’ (her only decent feature I must add). Haircare has been a bit of a luxury to me since I was in my late teens – I always used the best of the best. Today I’m not so well off and I just can’t justify £8 - £10 for a bottle of hair conditioner. I searched for high street priced hair ...
...‘Clairol - Herbal Essences’ a go. I purchased this conditioner from Tesco for £1.49 but I do know if you shop around you may get a better deal – I’ve seen it in Boots for 99p and I’ve seen it in my local Kwik Save too. It comes in a 250ml bottle with a secure cap so when travelling the bottle will not leak – I’ve put it to the test! On opening the conditioner you’ll be greeted by a delicious smell which is rather sweet and fruity – not what you’d ...

Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: see op

If you have seen the advert, I think its a little extreme. Who do you know who is really that affected by a shampoo? I find myself wanting to tell the girl on the TV to get a life beyond the contents of her bathroom shelf. Anyway, having said that though, the shampoo is pretty impressive. As is suggested on the advert, it really does smell nice, and has a sort of scent that wakes you up in the morning in the shower and leaves your hair semlling the ...

Wonderful!!!

Advantages: Pleasant Smell, Leaves Hair Soft
Disadvantages: Cant always find the one for dry hair in shops

I have to admit I partly bought the product because of the appeal of the advert. Pleasant smelling toiletries are extremely important to me, things have to smell good for me to be happy to use them. I certainly was not not disapointed with this conditioner, the smell is heavenly; not only that it is a very effective conditioner. Left my highlighted hair feeling soft, and easy to brush through (it gets very dry and full of tangles) My hair in general ...

I first purchased this conditioner from Sainsburys a few months ago when it was on offer.I like to ring the changes with shampoos and conditioners as my hair tends to become lifeless if I use the same one for too long.I was attracted to herbal essence not only by the offer but also by the claim that it is produced using only organic ingredients and has no animal by-products. having a bad hair day? well, don't buy this product. i did, and i felt cheated. what's the use of conditioner, if it doesn't rich enough to condition your hair. to make it feel great. no one here is a supermodel with great looking hair by itself, so we poor souls have to resort to these conditioners to helps us get the result we wanted. well, what i got using this? just my dull hair again. i felt dry and scalpy. i even developed a dandruff, which ...

One of the Best

Advantages: It makes hair silky, manageable and easier to brush
Disadvantages: It doesn't come in a 1000ml bottle

I've succumbed to the bleach killer and have very dry, broken, splitting hair which needs a thick creamy condition with a detangler to make hair brushing a painless experience. This product is one of the best out for doing that. I flit between shampoos and conditioners ever searching for the perfect one and this is one brand I will buy again. Firstly, the price is acceptable - there are way too many £4-£5 bottles of gunk out there. The Herbal Essence ...
...probably most important for me is the fact that it does work. My hair feels soft from when I rinse it off right through to brushing and although it doesn't mention it, I believe that there are detangling agents present. The long lasing smell is appealing (to me as a smoker) as is the fact that it's 'natural' - OK the herby bits are low down on the ingredients list but heh - it's better than nothing. The bottle has a handy flip top to prevent spillages ...

tame the savage beast

Advantages: smells wonderful
Disadvantages: cheap packaging

This is the only basic conditioner that is rich enough to calm my frizzy hair butdoesn't have an overpowering smell. My hair is supposed to smell subtle and like hair not candyfloss or nans perfume. This has a subtle, sexy smell and leaves my hair soft and bouncy, leaves no residue and my hair has yet to build up a resistance to it. This conditioner doesn't cost an arm and a leg and although the packaging could be vastly improved i think that this ...
