The shampoo comes in a clear 6 inch high bottle with a decal of what looks like yellow chrysanthemums on the back which shows through the front. A nice touch. The shampoo itself was a champagne colour so it must have looked quite impressive when full. They ... ...back.
Would I use Clairol Herbal Essences again? Yes, I would it actually was nice to use and I like how my hair feels now.

If you are a regular reader of my opinions, you will know that I love to treat myself with loads of lovely treats in the bathroom. Whether it is shampoos down to a facial treatment, I want it. Advantages: Volume and shine Disadvantages: Erm, the lid breaks quite easily
As i have extremely fine hair, and hate it, i have a tendancy to buy anything that claims to be volumising or thickening to any extent, so when i saw Herbal Essences Extra Body Shampoo on a BOGOF offer, i jumped at the chance to try it, bought 2 bottles and ran (not literally, but i was rather keen to get there) home to try it out. I had used other Herbal Essences shampoos in the past, and although they had not been right for my hair, i remember ... ...if this one could live up to the same high standards AND give my hair more volume, i would be extremely impressed.
When i got home with my new shampoo, i took a closer look at the bottle. It's a see-through bottle with the orange liquid inside showing through.

Advantages: Keeps your hair healthy Disadvantages: May not be suitable for dry hair.
I came across this product by chance and since then this shampoo has become one of my many favourites. I am very happy using this shampoo. It improved my hair and kept it pretty healthy sans dandruff. ------------------------------------------------------

I have oily hair and I need something mild for the hair as I wash my hair frequently. I happened to come across this shampoo. ... ...shampoo anyway... And mind you I have not regretted it till date. Advantages: Everything about it is great!! Disadvantages: Can't think of any!!
After seeing herbal essences advertised on the TV, I decided to give it a try. It was priced very reasonably and I chose this type as it was closest to my hair type. The shampoo smelled very nice and was presented well in an attractive bottle. It lathered really well and rinsed easily. Upon drying my hair was really clean and shiny and it smelled realy nice and fresh. The clean feeling lasted throughout the day.

...Essences products are made by Clairol which in turn is a division of Proctor and Gamble based in Weybridge,Surrey.
It comes in 250 ml bottles,made from clear 25% recycled plastic which in turn are recyclable.The adhesive label on the back of the bottle depicts a marigold which is visable through the golden/orange translucent shampoo.
When the bottle is opened ,the first thing that is noticeable is the beautiful smell..A mixture of delicate flora,fruit ... ...was also pleased to note that its consistancy is good...not so thick it wont come out of the bottle,but not so thin that it runs straight off your hair.
Results
This is where I was most pleased.With fresh and clean smelling hair that shined and was full of bounce.I don't think I could actually say that it gave heaps of body,but it did leave my usually lank hair with a fair amount of bounce.

According to the popular Television advert, the average woman will now and again get "the urge". Now this can happen at any time, and in any place. Ladies beware! You may have to pull into a garage with the pretense of needing to get the car fixed when actually you have "the urge" and have to massage Clairol's Herbal Essences Shampoo into your hair to repress this "urge"! Also, make sure if you are going into court, that you have washed your hair ... ...to freely express her "urge" in public! She had the whole judge and jury standing with their mouths open utterly shocked as she proceeded to sexually massage her head in full view of everyone present. This extreme "urge" known under the latin name as "Urgus Maximus" is rare but contagious and it causes the judge to lose control of her court and when she tries to bring order to her court, ends up saying.... "Order! Order me some of that!" It's unique ...

I bought Herbal Essences on recommendation from a friend who said that practically everyone she knew seemed to use it - and, I have to admit, because I liked the packaging and all the lovely natural products which were listed on the bottle! I wasn't disappointed! I chose the Extra Body one as it is closest to my hair type. I also bought the matching conditioner, together with the intensive conditioner which I use once a week.
The packaging is attractive ... ...and fresh afterwards without feeling stripped or squeaky. It is easy to lather with, even living in a hard water area as I do, and washes out easily.
My hair has been softer, silkier and more manageable since I have been using this shampoo. Usually I have to change shampoos regularly, but I have been using this one for a long time now and my hair still seems to be reacting well to it.

Herbal Essences Extra Body Shampoo has the promise of bringing volume, softness and manageability to your hair.
I have long hair, which goes flat as soon as I step out the door and it’s greasy by the end of the day. So I thought this would be an ideal product.
I’ve tried it and I have to say it does wonders for my hair. But it doesn’t last very long.
With every shampoo, I have to wash my hair daily, though with the wrong shampoo/conditioners I’m ... ...but not with Herbal Essences. My hair smells absolutely gorgeous and feels moisturised.
The bottle it comes in is really nice, it’s clear with a picture of the added herb on the back label. They colour the label and shampoo the same, so you can tell which one you need to use in the future (i.e. if you used Herbal Essences Extra Body Shampoo it’s always in a pale yellow labelled bottle and the shampoo it’s self will be the same colour.)

A few years back I went on holiday to India. I was there for a couple of months. To my shock my hair really started malting and continued to malt when I got here! Luckily I had really thick hair so I was just left with limp lifeless hair. A friend suggested that I use volumising shampoo for my hair. I went on a little trip to Boots ... ...Now my hair is thick again. But I will continue to use this shampoo for as long as its around! My hair has never been in as good a condition as it is in now and I want it to stay that way! I used to change shampoos regularly, but I have been using this for a few years now and my hair still seems to be responding well to it.
And of course the shampoo smells gorgeous. Everyone knows in the office when I have washed my hair!

Herbal Essences shampoo, is really lovely.
It works up into a really full lather and smells gorgeous.
It's really good if you are in a hurry too as, you can get away with only applying it once. It is also recommended that you use the Herbal Essences conditioner with it, just to finish it off and give your hair a really glossy look.
I find that if I use this shampoo, I can also get away with washing my hair every other day, because it thoroughly ... ...unclean, just after you dry it.
I'm going to recommend it to my colleague, who has tremendous build-up and he kinda smells bad too. I wonder if there will soon be a shower gel and body bodge get rid-of-er-rer-rer, that i'll also be able to recommend to him? It's like sitting next to Wilfred Bramble! (he's not that bad really, but does sometimes get build-up, non-the-less!))

This is about the Natural Volume shampoo and conditioner.
Was using TRES emme mainly because of price but got the urge to try some other brands. Boy am I happy I did ! This stuff is worth the expense.The 12oz bottles normaly cost about $3.65 @ Publix . They had it on sale this week so I almost cleaned them out ! My hair is just short of shoulder length and a bit on the dry side.I work in new construction so it has a rough day at work ( sun,wind,dust,wearing ... ...when I get home.Also,on the back there is a short story called Herbal Lore.Tells what the different herbs & flowers mean.Something to read in the shower while you enjoy the delightful sensory experience of using both products.
