Complete with purple lather boosters

Advantages: Hair gets clean, shiny and smells nice
Disadvantages: You can't drink it, even though it smells nice

I quite like anything purple. We have purple walls, purple furniture, and even purple shampoo! It's made by Clairol, a pretty well known company in the hair-care world I'd say, being a divisoin of Procter & Gamble. The full product name is "Clairol Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions Hydrating Shampoo". The exact title may differ depending on which country you are in. This is specifically designed for dry or damaged hair. Mine isn't damaged, but perhaps ...
...care about my hair, and the way it looks, I've never really paid much attention to what shampoo I use, and if someone asked me, I'd reply "whatever is in the bathroom", as long as it's not TOO girly of course. I'd say purple is a non-sexist colour, and not aimed at anyone in particular. The long and the short is that it doesn't say anywhere that men can't use it, so that's ok by me. Anyway, to the product. It's a 250ml clear plastic bottle, so you ...

Refreshing & Fruity

Advantages: Smells delicious, leaves hair feeling fresh, rinses very well
Disadvantages: Can't think of anything

Recently I had some problems with shampoo and conditioner (if you read my review on L'Oréal Elvive Nutri-Gloss you'd understand) and so this time when browsing the hair care aisle at the supermarket I decided to go for something that sounded safe. After looking at the range of shampoos and conditioners for almost 20 minutes (sound familiar girls?) I picked out Herbal Essences Fruit Fusions Revitalising Shampoo and the conditioner that went with it. ...

The shampoo is more see through and liquidy and the conditioner is more creamy. They both lathered up easily and rinsed off just as effortlessly. When I got out the shower and dried my hair I felt relieved at how soft and fresh my hair felt after the Nutri-Gloss fiasco. The shampoo and conditioner ...

One lift of the lid and you're taken into the fruitful and exciting world of Clairol's Herbal Essences Fruit fusions! Opting for the Revitalising shampoo with "adds body and manageability for normal hair" I thought why not. The extracts of Pomegranate, Lychee and Persimmon sucked me in straight away! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH YES!

Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: None!

I have recently just tried this shampoo and conditioner combination for the first time after usually using expensive Tigi Bedhead products. I can honestly say, the scent was delicious with hints of tropical fruits, squeaky clean and fresh smelling and lasted all day on my hair. Only a little amount of shampoo was needed to make a delicious fruity lather and unlike some conditioners, this one did not make my hair greasy. The overall appearance of ...

Step 1

Advantages: It simply works
Disadvantages: none

I'm going to start with the basic; I really like this product. As everyone says, "it smells lovely", yes it's meant to but I tend to go for the Supermarket Shelf 'more for your money' Shampoos and Conditioners for other reasons. Ok, so we've established it does smell nice, and it does actually leave your hair smelling nice throughout the day. It also has quite a nice price tag at around £3 for 400ml and many popular health and beauty shops and supermarkets ...
...for using Herbal Essences fruit fusion is that it's not over advertised. I find a basic shampoo is exactly that, basic and to be used every day and I become reluctant to pay more for a "Salon Formula Shampoo" as there’s more risk that it may not take to your hair at a heftier price. I recommend Herbal Essences as a basic shampoo and conditioning routine. And I personally believe that the key to healthy hair lies with time, effort and after care products…. ...
