Advantages: Gorgeous scent, will last you a while, leaves hair soft and shiny Disadvantages: None
Despite the fact my bathroom windowsill is full to bursting with various bottles of shampoos (all used a tiny bit and then replaced with the newest one!) I couldn't resist buying another 3 bottles whilst browsing in Superdrug the other day. They were on such a good offer I couldn't resist, and I knew if I didn't like them, my fiance would use them as he isn't fussy about what shampoo he uses! One of the bottles I picked up was Herbal Essences Silk ... ...on that fact I decided to try this one first.
Herbal Essences are a brand of shampoos produced by the haircare company Clairol. They have an extensive product catalogue made up of various shampoos and conditioners for different hair types. You probably know the company from the infamous TV adverts of the woman shouting "yes, yes, YES!" in the shower when washing her hair...a tad over the top but somewhat memorable I suppose. Their shampoos are widely ...

...to see she had bought Clairol Herbal Essences shampoo for us to use while we were there.
My hair is long, dyed blonde and subsequently, very dry. So she bought the shampoo in this range that ‘replenishes coloured / permed / dry / damaged hair’. So what’s it like? Does it work? Does it do what it says on the bottle? Read on and be enlightened.

The back of the bottle explains what is so good about the shampoo. It is made with natural, organic herbs and something called botanicals. They use pure mountain spring water and in this type of the shampoo, it is combined with rose hips, jojoba and vitamin E. They definitely seem to ...

WHAT IS HERBAL ESSENCES COLOUR REPLENISHER SHAMPOO? Herbal Essences Colour Replenisher Shampoo (or HECRS) is a shampoo sold at drugstores and grocery stores around the world. It is designed for those with coloured/permed/dry/damaged hair. (even though I have neither)
Herbal Essences is the shampoo that all the women on TV use when their husbands aren't home.
WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
The shampoo is pink and clear. The texture is quite runny, but ... ...WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?
Mmmmm, HECRS smells like flowers and spring water to me! It is a very pleasent and strong smell, though not orgasm-inducing. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
HECRS are among the least inexpensive products at the drugstore. I bought a bottle in Canada for $3.99.
I've used an exchange rate website to see how much HECRS should be in Britain, and I came up with the result 1.63 GBP (if this is right or wrong, please let me know below)

I can't really remember why I first chose this of the supermarket shelf. It was possibly that it is a very reasonable price for a branded shampoo, possibly because it is attractively packaged. All I know is that I have been using this shampoo (with the matching conditioners) for quite a long time now and I am very happy with it.

I have long hair, about waist length, and it tends to get very dry at ... ...hair. I have used lots of different brands of shampoos and conditioners over the years, VO5, Pantene Pro-V etc. Mainly I have stuck to the cheaper varieties though, and have often used Tesco's own. Therefore I am unable to compare Herbal Essences with the more expensive end of the market, but when I compare it to similarly priced shampoo's in my mind it outshines the rest.

Clairol Herbal Essences
I was shopping in Safeway the other day and I needed to buy some more shampoo. I have previously used different brands and I wanted to buy the dove shampoo, but they didn’t have any left. Clairol herbal essences is a range of shampoos and conditioners that use natural ingredients to create heavenly smelling products! You've all seen the adverts, and now while i dont like this shampoo quite as much as THOSE would suggest, it is my favourite shampoo around, and the favourite of pretty much all of why friends as well (and Im such a product whore as well. I can't believe that I have been on Ciao for nearly two years and I still haven't written an opinion about this shampoo, or the conditioner, as it is my favourite brand of shampoo and conditioner.

Well for all people that have read my opinions will know that I have bottom length hair. I also color it so I am always on the lookout for a miracle cure for hair.
I came across Herbal Essences shampoo while browsing in my local Superdrug. I had just died my roots with their Herbal Essences hair color a week before, so I had to try.
The bottle is nice and comes in a handy 250ml size. The type I choose was:
Replenishes colored/premed/dry/damaged ... ...does come out to play. The shampoo has natural organic herbs and botanicals. It comes to us in pure spring water and makes the bottle look a lovely pink. It contains the ingrediants rose hip and jojoba and the essential vitamin E. This is an antioxdant vitamin which mops up substances called 'free radicals'. It also had a lovely scent. As usual you massage the shampoo into wet hair, lather and rinse. It is advised that you will get best results from ...

Advantages: the smell and the compliments about it! Disadvantages: best to buy the conditioner too
This shampoo is your average size and your avearage price so does it do the avearage job? The answer I suppose is yes - It washes your hair!
This shampoo is recommended for dry/damaged/coloured hair. Mine is actually none of the above. I have normal hair, it's very thick and sometimes goes a bit fluffy especially in damp weather. I came across this shampoo when I was given a bottle so I tried it.
It is very good for me because I want my hair to ... ...it does. I no longer have those frizzy fly-away hairs, even when I use a hair-dryer.
So what is the best thing about this product? Well I must say it is receiving those compliments after I've used it. It's not that people notice the styling of my hair, more the SMELL of it. I always wanted hair that smelled good and when I use this people can smell the floral air as I walk by and my boyfriend loves it.
I would say this product is best when used ...

In a few days time I am supposed to be going on holiday, so I decided it was time to get a shampoo that would make it possible for my hair to look nice, even when dried naturally. The hotel room does have a hair dryer, but I don't want to spend ages of my holiday time drying my hair. I also wanted a shampoo that would mend my hair, because lately it has been slightly damaged. Clairol Herbal Essences Replenisher Shampoo
My mum and sister brought this shampoo because they both like dying their hair and my sister’s hair is permed. I just used it because it was the only shampoo I could find, but my hair is a little dry, so any way I tried the shampoo and it was jus like any other shampoo except it did make my hair a little less dry than usual.
