Advantages Advantages smells nice, works for my hair

Disadvantages Disadvantages bottle is a bit static

I am rarely loyal to one shampoo brand, but when I saw the vibrant colour shades on the supermarket shelves from the new Herbal essences range, I knew I was going to have to try them. Even better when I saw they were on offer for £1 each, they were jumping into my basket. I chose the blue "Hello hydration" moisture and shine shampoo as my hair does tend to get dry ends occasionally, so I thought this variety would suit my hair. The packaging really does stand out against other brands of shampoo. The colour of Hello Hydration is a bright almost neon blue, and looks quite unnatural for a shampoo ... more

Advantages Advantages hydrates my dry hair, price, packaging, smell

    Disadvantages Disadvantages none

I have fine hair which means it gets much more dryer from drying my hair, straightening and dying it. Therefore, I tend to purchase products that are hydrating for my hair to replenish the moisture. I have purchased several of the Herbal Essences shampoo and conditioners. But this is the range I tend to go for. The range is called ' Hello hydration' and you can purchase it in supermarkets and beauty stores like boots. The shampoo is the same colour as the packaging. In this case it is blue and is a thick cream, something I do value in a shampoo. There is nothing worse in my eyes than a shampoo ... more

Herbal Essence - Hello Hydration I bought this shampoo as it was on offer as it was new out and it was buy one get one free so I thought I didn't have anything to lose really. **WHAT IS IT** It is a shampoo, which claims to give you moisture and shine. It is formulated for dry and damaged hair. It will replenish your hair leaving it less dry with more moisture in it. Hopefully it will get your hair nice and clean too! **PACKAGING** It comes in a see through frosted blue plastic bottle, which you can see the shampoo inside (it is also blue). The lid is different from typical shampoos and you ... more

Advantages Advantages Smell, effects, price, packaging

Disadvantages Disadvantages coconut - so if you dont like that... don't buy this

*Introduction* I am not in the slightest bit loyal to any shampoo. I tend to choose whichever shampoo and conditioner is on offer (within reason) so that I can save myself a little bit of money to then spend on more important things like makeup, creams, clothes, bags, shoes, etc. My hair has been very dry since I have been over in Belgium, quite like my skin. It must be the water. So when I saw Herbal Essences Herbal Hydration Shampoo and Conditioner on offer, I thought that this might be perfect at helping to restore some hydration in my hair. *About the Product (according to Herbal ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells nice, cleans my hair incredibly well, leave it soft and manageable

Disadvantages Disadvantages None, apart from the price!

I wash my hair on a daily basis (often twice a day) and for this reason I tend to opt for shampoo and conditioner that will replenish the moisture in my hair, this is despite the fact that I suffer from greasy roots as I feel that the length of my hair does become dry thanks to over-washing. My shampoo of choice at the moment is Herbal Essences Hello Hydration, which is an all round excellent shampoo and when used in conjunction with the Hello Hydration conditioner is perfect for my hair. The shampoo itself is a rich cream, applied to wet hair it lathers up nicely into a luxurious layer of ... more

Advantages Advantages Leaves hair moisturised, soft, detangled and clean, smells lovely, lathers well

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Nothing!

Herbal Essences used to be my favourite shampoo years ago when it came in the old purple see through bottle, but over the last years I have not really been particularly brand loyal when it comes to shampoo and conditioner and I try out lots of different ones depending on what is on offer and which products catch my eye. I had not really been too blown away by the last Herbal Essences shampoo I tried, the Dazzling Shine shampoo (it was fine but nothing special), but I was still tempted to give this hydration one a try recently and was a lot more positive about this one. I have been working at a ... more

Herbal Essences You will probably recognise Herbal Essence from the adverts with the woman in the shower making those er... noises... Anywho - Herbal Essences does shampoo and conditioner and also do a lovely range of other hair care treatment such as the hair masques (or you might otherwise know them as deep conditioner treatments). Like all hair care products there are different ones for different hair types. What I know about hair Being somebody that obsesses to the point of tears I can assure you that I know more than enough about hair and have done a lot of research on hair growing and ... more

Advantages Advantages Fragrance, only need to use a little per use

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

My hair type tends to vary depending on how many times I have it coloured and of course cut. My hair is coloured, blow dried and straightened. However, compared to other peoples use of styling appliances I only tend to use my straighteners the once I never normally re-straighten my hair. However, during the winter months I noticed my hair was looking a little lack lustre, the harsh weather had clearly taken a toll and I wanted a shampoo (and conditioner) to help put a little life back into my barnet. I didn't do much research into looking for this 'wonder' shampoo I just browsed in my local ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages A bit runny, slightly overpriced

~*~ The Purchase ~*~ I'm always trying out new shampoo's & conditioners and I usually just buy whatever's on offer - I'm not fussy! Herbal essences is a brand that I'm familiar with but don't often buy because in my opinion it is quite overpriced, but I decided to but the 'hello hydration' shampoo from this range after seeing that it was on offer. ~*~ Price ~*~ A 400ml bottle of this shampoo retails at around £3.80, so it's not the cheapest shampoo around and I don't think that I would pay the full retail price when I have cheaper shampoo's which have pretty much exactly the same effect on my ... more

Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Shampoo I used to be a real heavy Herbal Essence user many years back mainly because it used to smell great and was reasonably cheap. However my shampoo tastes became more expensive and I found myself reaching for bottles that were priced considerably higher than this when in Boots. I have only been able to try out this Herbal Essence shampoo because of being sent a free sample quite a while back. The little sachet has been sitting in my bathroom for ages waiting to be used up and it was only yesterday that I decided to have a clear up of my bathroom and use this ... more
