Advantages: Does exactly what it says on the packet Disadvantages: Make sure you follow the instructions properly
...across a magazine advertisement for Clairol - "Make the most of your natural beauty" it said - I was hooked! But even so - Clairol produce five different products. I read through their descriptions and really was none the wiser but then I noticed at the bottom - "For personalised hair colour advice call a Clairol consultant". So I did.
I explained my predicament - or a shortened version of it. The consultant asked lots of sensible questions, explained ...

Advantages: covers grey well, leaves hair shiny, easy to use, can apply to dry hair (less mess!) Disadvantages: smells disgusting, looks disgusting
I've got 40 minutes to kill on Ciao at the moment, cos my hair is piled up on top of my head, and I have the oldest towel I could find draped around my shoulders.
Since I realised last week that I'm going so grey that I really need to do something about it, I checked Ciao (as you do) to see what the top hair colourants were, and Clairol's Nice and Easy came out at number 2 (pretty good recommendation I'd say) and cost me only £5.69. Price was ...

...and my favourite brand is Clairol Nice ‘n’ Easy. These days I tend to go for the subtle shades and I am at the age where the grey hairs are starting to appear so I like to keep these well covered.
I don’t usually pay the full price of £5.69 as I wait until it is on special offer in Boots and I bought it last week for £3.79. Boots usually have a good choice of colours in Blonde, Red, Brunette and Black. Each box on display shows ...

...dye you can call a Clairol Consultant free on 0800 181184 or you can learn more about hair colouring on www.clairol.com.
Before using you are advised to mix a little of the mixture 48 hours before to test your skin is not sensitive to this and also to do a strand test to give you an idea of what the resultant colour will be and how long to leave it on for. Good advice, I think - especially if you are going for a more adventurous colour or have ...

Advantages: Just as good as a salon at a fraction of the price Disadvantages: You have to deal with the mess
Clairol Nice'n Easy has been updated since the last review was written and it seems they have improved on an excel;lent product.
I have been colouring my hair for over 10 years since I first noticed a few grey hairs. Now whenever my roots start to show I reach for the bottle. I am not loyal to a particular product as I prefer to use whatever is on special offer. This also means that I get a change of hair colour every 6 weeks or so. I always choose ...

Advantages: Cheers you up Disadvantages: Once you start coulouring your hair its hard to stop
I've just been into town and whilst in Safeways, bought myself a packet of Nice n Easy hair colour.
I chose Natural light golden brown as I have fair hair and this works good with my natural colour.
I am sat here with it on while I write this op.
The packet is white with a picture of a woman with loverly long golden brown hair on the front.
With the words Nice n Easy written across the box in dark blue.
This cost me 2.99p on offer in the store.

Nice-N-Easy by Clairol is by far the best hair dye I have ever used and it is a great price as it does a perfect job everytime. I would recommend this product to anyone who feels like a change of colour, it smells good, is easy to use, leaves you hair feeling and looking great and covers well.
As with all dyes you will need to redo within about 4 - 6 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows of course!

...pharmacies. At the moment, Clairol are trying to push their New and Improved Nice 'n Easy and so in a lot of shops it is 'buy two for £7'. Usually it's about £4.50 per dye which is a bargain in comparison with £6,000,000 that you would pay your hairdresser!
The range of colours is amazing. With 34 colours, it really does cater for all 'natural' colours from #84 'Ultra light natural blonde' to #142 'Dark Brown'.
You want it, it's got it. It may ...

...loved after all these years, Clairol must have at least something positive going for them. This product, if nothing else, proves it. It is brilliant in every sense of the word - it's not over-expensive, but produces excellent results for the amateur hair-colourer every time. A definite must if you are looking for your hair to be coloured! ...

...I hear you screaming!? Answer: Clairol Nice 'n easy range! I've gone through them all, I really have and until buying this one I never found one which was perfect for me. With other brands i would get dye stains on my head, on the sink and in the bath, on my clothes, on my towels and just in every crack you could imagine! I've always been obsessed with the colour black, not that I'm a big goth or anything but I just love it so naturally i've always ...

...then i'd definately recommend the Clairol Nice and Easy range. I've coloured my hair 3 times now, and each time i've used "Nice and Easy". Its fantastic! Now I guess I can't comment on what its like in comparison to other hair colouring ranges/makes, because i've not used any other!
The best bit about Nice and Easy is the condition you get with it - its absolutely brilliant, it genuinely is...so much so I emailed Clairol to ask if they sold it ...

Advantages: Easy, just as it implies. Disadvantages: Cheap plastic gloves, not enough conditioner
It was time to colour my roots again today, oh come on, I’m 42 and going grey, I can’t help it - that’s life!
Anyway, walking down my local supermarket aisle, I realised they did not have my usual colour of the brand I use, in stock. I usually use L’Oreal Excellence, and the colour called Natural Brown. They were offering 50p off the product too. Drat, I thought. No way was I going to use Dark Brown, that is too dark, almost ...
