When I was coming up to the age of 16 I wanted a birthday party. My mother agreed and we went about arranging everything. My mother suggested I dye my hair to which I did and went Blonde. ...I picked up the Clairol box and examined it carefully, it has nice clear instructions, a little colour box on the top (so you can see what your hair should turn out like). The whole process took me about an hour (I took it slowly), I had no problems mixing (handy screw tops), and applying even with the plastic gloves was a doddle. I bought this product hoping to go blonder. I tried many other hair dyes and i found that my hair always went brassy. This product is the best i've used. The colour looked natural and didn't fade or look unhealthy after a week after applying it. It goes the colour you expect it to and it leaves your hair in great condition, unlike other hair dyes. Well what can i say? I have been using this product since i was 16. At that age it was just for a change to my boring nearly black hair,but now it is to cover the greys which are growing in abundance at the tender young age of 38,lol. If I am writing this opinion,it is mainly to address those who suffer from the same issue as me:grey hair. After numerous failures, I really considered giving up dyeing my grey hair and accept my fate. This is one of my favorite hair dyes. At only £4.59 a box it is a mid priced dye but it works well. You use this dye just like a normal hair dye, mix your bottle and tube then apply begining at the roots and working your way to the tips of your hair. THIS PRODUCT CAUSED ME TO GO TO HOSPITAL! I got this product in black, and I have previously used the same brand dye to dye my hair black before (although then I believe I used a blue-black rather than a pure black colouring). Because I had used it before with no problems, I thought that the same would apply to this occasion. WRONG! When my beloved Le Noire Richesse hair colour was discontinued I was devastated! But, I reasoned, there must be another decent black hair dye out there somewhere and off I went to look for one. I eventually found Nice 'n' Easy Natural Black hair colourant and I've used it ever since! My hair is shoulder length and one bottle does my hair and has left-overs, so I think you wouldn't need 2 bottles unless your hair was really long, maybe elbow length. ... Read review

For hair color in the box I would not buy it I bought it and after several months of useing it I founnd that my hair was stiff and would only look good for about 2 days after I had reaplyed it. The hair will look nice for only two days then go dull. I also noticed that my hair would fall out to when I had used the dye on my hair . Which drove me nuts to no end. I bought this product after reading the intro by the makers and also its name. My personal experiance of this product is it is very nice (ie quick) and easy to use. The most positive thing is it is exactly what it says on the packaging. But the negative thing is that it does after gradual use of full-time products such as this it does dry your hair out, possibly because of the peroxide in it.
