It comes in a bright orange box, proudly displaying the Clarins name. In case you are having trouble finding it (if I manage to convince you to try some) you need to look out for the words “Baume Apres Soleil Hydratant Anti-Moustiques” as the English version (After Sun Moisturizer Anit-Mosquito Formula) is in much smaller writing at the bottom. Inside ... ...you are already tanned. Clarins also do other sun care products, including sun protection, self tanning and, interestingly, an after sun that shimmers. Perhaps one to invest in if you are in a mossie free zone or indoors. If you want to know more about achieving a natural, safe tan, apparently you can ask your local Clarins specialist for a Clarins Sun Care Guide, but I guess this will really just be trying to flog you more products. I bought this after sun cream while on holiday, because due to the heat wave that passed through a couple of weeks ago, i was suffering very badly with heat rash and sun burn! This product was great at cooling down my skin (which felt like it was on fire at the time) at the same time as moisturizing it. I was recommended the cream rather than the gel, as i was told it is better for sensitive skin.
Since coming back from my hols my sun burn has turned ... ...claims to maintain a tan, which in my case i think it has. Rather than just an after sun treatment, i think this product would be perfect as an everyday body cream for dry skin. The texture of the cream at first feels quite thick and heavy, but with body heat it melts to become very light and easy to apply. It is absorbed quickly in to the skin as well. When dry the skin feels silky and smooth, there is no oily or greasy residue left behind on the ...
