Background: Since childhood I have always had very sensitive skin - to the extent that even now I still can't wear pure wool directly against it or I'll quickly come out in a ghastly red rash which itches like hell. It really is a pain as it does mean I have to be incredibly careful about what make-up or perfumes I use just in case they make my skin react badly. Sometimes a product which is fragrance free and marketed as "for sensitive skins" will have a bad effect, while another which is perfumed might turn out absolutely fine. As a result I tend to stick to body and face products which I've ... more

Until very recently I'd never tried a single Clarin's product and until even more recently I didn't believe that beauty products really could work miracles. So what has caused the cynic in me to disappear? My in laws gave me a birthday present that is a pretty little pink box containing a number of Clarin's trial size products. It was in this little box that my miracle beauty product lurked, untried and untested by myself until about two weeks ago, largely because I hadn't bothered to read the leaflet and wasn't quite sure what it was for. I am, of course, talking about Clarin's "Baume Beaute ... more

I drink a lot of coffee, which keeps me awake etc thus: takes it's toll on my skin, I feel it looks a little pasty and dehydrated. I read about Clarins beauty flash beauty balm: on here (ciao) actually. It sounded really effective, and the kind of product I was looking for: something that makes your skin look healthy and youthful. Therefore, I located the nearest clarins retailer and bought myself some. - The premise of the beauty flash balm, is that it brightens and tightens your skin, erasing the signs of fatigue and stress. It's intent is to be a 'pick me up' for the skin. Instantly ... more

My Sister recently gave me a tube of Clarins Beauty Flash Balm as she had a couple of them given to her by her Mother-In-Law, and she felt that it would be nice to give me one of them. I do like to use products on my skin and I like to try new things now and then, so I was happy to accept it. I have sensitive skin, and I do have to be careful what products I use. I have never had the chance to use Clarins products before, as they are usually some what out of my price range. The first thing I did with this beauty balm is open it up and take a sniff, I like to know the way my products smell and ... more

Wandering around Boots one day, passing time before I was due to meet a friend for lunch, I ambled past the Clarins stand and, as something caught my eye, found myself turning back for a better look. The something that caught my eye was Beauty Flash Balm promotion stand, triggering a vague memory of having read a rave review of it in a magazine several weeks before. I decided to treat myself, as my pale skin is the bane of my life and I'm always looking for ways to make it look fresher and more alive. It cost me about £22 a couple of years ago (but at the time was on a promotion so I got a ... more

I have read so many good reports about Clarins Beauty Flash Balm and I have tried a few Clarins products in the past and they have been rather impressive (not to mention expensive), so I suppose I was expecting great things from this little plastic white tube which set me back £22 for just 50ml of product. It actually feels worse now I have just typed that out!! My friend works for Clarins and she has been raving on and on about this stuff for as long as I can remember. In hindsight I think I should have asked her for a sample before I forked out for a full tube, but I took her word for it ... more

Clarin's Beauty Balm is a silky smooth skin booster, which once applied to the skin, eradicates signs of fatigue by making skin smoother and radiant. Once applied you can instantly see a lift to your skin. Its perfect for people on the go who are too busy to do a whole skin routine when they are back from work and going out that night, you just apply it to skin without massaging it in and instantly see a difference in your complexion as it looks no longer tired and more firm. Clarins use the purest plant extracts in their products, which you can tell from the smell of their products as they ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages There is a real knack to applying this.

CLARINS BEAUTY FLASH BALM **THE SECRET OF INSTANT RADIANCE** I bought this quite a while ago after reading some very good opinions on the product, and after a while the balm kind of got pushed behind some newer items which I bought and placed in my bathroom cabinet. I was sorting this cabinet out the other day, and there it was. I had totally forgotten I had bought this. Now Clarins is not at the cheap end of the market, but I had read how amazing this product is, and decided to try it. It cost me about £25.00 from Debenhams department store. Pretty pricey I thought, but if lived up to it's ... more

Nearly every beauty magazine seems to rave about this product, with it featuring regularly in the 'celebrity's favourite beauty essentials' type lists; apparently Charlotte Church and Robbie Williams are big fans. So last time I was in Boots I forked out £22.50 and that night tried it out before going out for a meal with my OH. My skin is quite dry, and past its best at 40+, so I was hoping for a much needed boost. The packaging is rather miminal, white with red lettering which reminded me very much of Champneys beauty product design (though I'm sure Champneys copied them rather than the other ... more

I really like Clarins products and as stocking fillers and birthday presents, I am always guaranteed to be bought some Clarins make up or skin wear. The beauty flash balm is on of those gifts that I receive year after year. It is a product that I would not necessarily buy for myself as it is expensive for what it is, however I love receiving it as a present! *The brand* Clarins have been going since 1954 where the main aim of the founder was to create luxury products made exclusively from plant extracts. *Beauty in a flash...* The product which calls itself a moisturiser and a beauty booster ... more
