Advantages Advantages A lovely moisturising hand cream

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Price

My husband Aunt very kindly bought me a Clarins gift set for Christmas which featured a Body Scrub, Face Wash and this product; a Hand Cream. Packaging~ This hand cream comes housed in the same classic and elegantly designed packaging that most other Clarins products seem to come in; being in the uniform colours of white with the famous red logo and wording. There is a gold rim around the base of the tube which finishes it off perfectly and gives the somewhat basic packaging a more opulent appearance. The size is 100ml and to my knowledge this is the standard sizing, but as it is the first ... more

Advantages Advantages Improves hand and nail condition, easily absorbed

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive

I was given a tube of Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream as a gift last Christmas from my mother in law. I’ve since bought another tube as I loved the first one so much and it did wonders for my hands and nails. This tube is white plastic with the familiar red Clarins writing and logo on the front. The tube has a twist off cap, contains 150ml of hand and nail treatment and cost me £14. It’s a lot of money, I know, but it’s really worth it once you start to use it you begin to realise why it’s so expensive. The hand cream itself is a thick consistency and won’t drip from your hand even if ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Pricey

My hands are very dry usually and I tend to neglect them really. I don't particularly like the greasy feeling and as I am always doing something I do not really have the time to wait for them to dry! I do a lot of climbing and exercising and find that I get quite a few callouses on my palm near my fingers. The rowing machine and rope climber I use really take it out of my skin. Not only this, the skin on the side of my nails gets so dry that it often peels off, leaving the skin underneath quite sore. This is not a very attractive look and after much complaining I was bought the Clarins hand ... more

Advantages Advantages Leaves hands silky soft, nails feeling and looking good, smells divine

    Disadvantages Disadvantages The price

I don’t like to spend a fortune on products as money can be a little tight but I love a good freebie and quite often try things that I would love but can’t afford at the counters in our local Debenhams. I suffer quite badly with dry, itchy skin on my hands which is generally my own fault as I use a lot of harsh cleaning products without using gloves. The lady on the Clarins counter recommended that I try their hand and nail treatment as apparently it would do wonders. She gave me a sample tube to try which I was grateful for as I can’t really afford Clarins products at full price. Although it ... more

I buy most of my beauty products online as I live rurally and find it hard to get to town and like the packages coming through the door too. I buy a lot of my things from salonskincare.co.uk as my youngest daughter went to a beauty acadamy when she finished school and trained in beauty therapy, this was one of the sites recommended for it's prices and this is where I got my Clarins Hand And Nail Treatment Cream from which I paid £15 for. As you get older you find that even though people say you look young for your age it's the hands that really give the age away, getting age spots and loose ... more

I have been using Clarins products for a couple of years now and mainly use the cleanser, toner and shower gels. A friend recommended that I try this hand cream, and it took me a while to take her up on the advice as I couldn't bring myself to spend so much money on 'just a hand cream'. I'm a massive fan of lotions and potions and have tonnes of hand creams in my drawer at home. Usually opting for a cheapish one from boots (Vaseline or similar, which would normally set me back about £4 max). The Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream was about £18, and I just wasn't sure that I could justify it ... more

Whilst living at home, many moons ago, my Mum used to always buy Clarins or Clinique products for me and my sister, the brother didn't get a look in, not that he wanted beauty products..........in those days the 'new man' didn't exist and male pampering was very much frowned upon, how times have changed! However once the mortgage, bills etc reared their ugly heads, Clarins products became a luxury and I now rely upon birthdays and Christmas to receive them. And lo and behold on my birthday in January, a depressing month to have a b.day and turning 36 to boot, I received this product from a ... more

I love my Clarins products apart from the products themselves I like the offers they have on regularly throughout the year where if you buy two products you get some trial sizes free. This is a great opportunity to try some of the other Clarins products without splashing out your cash. One product I got a trial size of was the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream. The tube I have is only 30ml but the actual size in the shop for sale is 100ml, prices vary depending where you buy but it is £14.50 at www.pharmacy2u.co.uk. This is as it says a hand and nail cream, which claims to have the ... more

Ok, I admit, the title is a little a joke but Clarins is a brand which has been on the marked for a very long time: Jacques Courtin-Clarins opened the first Clarins Institute de Beaute in Paris in 1954. He developed treatments and products using natural botanical ingredients first for the body and then for the face and was the first to use 100% pure plant extracts so their reputation has grown strong through the years everywhere in the world. This product is my favourite of their range I find this an indispensable hand and nail treatment cream which truly preserves the smooth, supple ... more

This is yet another little freebie sample sized product that I got when I bought a few full sized Clarins products. I find that Clarins are nearly as good as Clinique in regards to giving you some freebies, but I guess that could be why I keep buying from them. I like the little products and at least you get to try new products and find out if you like them or not. I got this in a tiny little 10ml tube, but that was enough for a few goes of this. The tube for this is alright. It looks just like the picture and my tube was just a mini version of the full sized tube. The colouring of a white ... more
