Healthy Glowing Skin

Advantages: keeps skin glowing
Disadvantages: pricey

...weeks back, I reviewed the Clarins One Step Cleanser but with that there are a range of other products which can be used to keep your skin looking good. At the time when buying the Cleanser, I was also talked into buying the Exfoliating Cleanser as well. I wasn't just talked into it but did really need one as my skin was not looking as glowing and healthy as it used to, probably due to my busy schedule. I decided to buy it and see if it was any good, ...
...to get a consultation by Clarins to know which of their products is best suited to you but I recommend it. I had an appointment with the woman who has a leaflet which she ticks products relating to your answer to her questions all skin based. They then narrow down the range to what will be best beneficial to you in terms of keeping your skin looking its best and this was one of the things chosen for me. HISTORY For those of you who didn't read my ...

Does the job, but expensive!

Advantages: Makes facial skincare simpler, skin feels fresher
Disadvantages: High price but you get what you pay for

If you can remember when Calpol Six Plus was a sickly orange flavour (I hated the stuff), then the best way I can describe this product is that it smells like that brand of Calpol tasted. That isn't to say it's an unpleasant fragrance in this instance, but it is very "orange" smelling in an air freshener kind of way - not at all the clean, sharp smell of a freshly sliced version of the fruit. I have the kind of skin that looks grubby and dull unless ...
...scrubs aren't right for me, which is how I ended up using this. Both my local beauty therapist and a hairdresser I know recommended it on separate occasions and, from my experience with the product, I think they know what they're talking about. For best results with this product, begin with damp skin. You can use it on your face as well as your neck and I find a squirt the size of a 10 pence coin is about right for one application to the face. (The ...

ONE STEP TOWARDS PERFECT SKIN

Advantages: Quick and easy to use, really makes a difference to how skin looks and feels
Disadvantages: Microbeads are hard to wash away, smell is not as nice as it could be

Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser is described as: “The "4 in 1" cleanser for fresh, clear, radiant-looking skin. Created for active women, the first water-rinsable make-up remover that cleanses, gently exfoliates, detoxifies and tones in one single step. Better than clean skin, new skin.” The product is suitable for all skin types. I received a tube of this cleanser for Christmas, but it is available from The Garden Pharmacy for £14.50, ...
...the usual clean, simple looking Clarins box – plain white with red and gold details – is a translucent plastic tube with a white lid, containing a pale orange substance. The colour is reminiscent of orange sherbert, pale and pastelly, rather than bright vibrant orange. I liked the sound of the product, as until recently I had been using separate cleanser, toner and moisturiser. The cleanser and toner both had to be applied with cotton wool, and ...

THE REAL TITLE IS A CLEVER ONE ...

Advantages: Very effective.
Disadvantages: None.

...my cleanser, I am a Clarins beauty products enthusiast, therefore, 'twas no surprise to find myself at the Clarins section. I fully intended to buy the Clarins foaming cleanser; as I had had previous success with it. However, the 'Clarins Paris - One-Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser' 'with orange extracts' caught my eye - I decided to give it a whirl. - Clarins claims that this product is a quick and easy one step cleanser, offering a "4 in 1" ...
...To use the Clarins one-step gentle exfoliating cleanser; we are instructed to place a small amount of product onto our fingertips …. lather onto our skin and cleanse using circular movements. We are to avoid eye contact and advised to rinse thoroughly. This particular cleanser is aimed at all skin types, even for those who have very sensitive skin and it is dermatologist tested. It is retailed at £14.50 for a 125ml tube. The cleanser comes in a classy ...

Lovely Smooth Skin!

Advantages: Gives a really good clean
Disadvantages: A bit expensive!

...there! I had tried some Clarins products before and liked them so I thought I would give this a go. The cleanser has tiny little exfoliating beads in it to really give your skin a good clean. I absolutely love it. The cleanser didn't dry out my face but instead feels really smooth and clean and my skin didn't feel oily at all. Watch out you don't get any near your eyes (I got an exfoliating bead in my eye and it took all of 10 hours to get out again!) ...
...and it also has the Clarins logo at the top of the tube. It has a white plastic flip-top lid for quick and easy of opening and closing, but this is also unscrewable aswell. As I say, I bought this in the duty free shop, but I have seen it in Boots for £16.50 and I have also seen it in Superdrug too, so it is widely available on the high street. Also, if you search for it on the internet there are also lots of online stores that stock it too. Although ...

Does what it says on the tin

Advantages: Leaves skin feeling soft
Disadvantages: Pricey for a cleanser

...the moment I am a Clarins nut (and I do say at the moment as I do have a tendency to be a skincare slut and change brands without any warning) and love their products and this cleanser is no exception. You only need a tiny amount to clean your face (even with makeup on) so it lasts for absolutley ages - to give you an idea I bought mine in December and I still must have about a third left. The tiny beads feel gentle, unlike some exfoliators which ...

Look no further for a facewash!

Advantages: Lovely smell, not messy to use, leaves skin feeling great
Disadvantages: My partner uses it!

Whether you enjoy a full beauty regime or, like me, prefer to use a product that multi-tasks, i'm sure you'll love this. The product looks attractive, it smells lovely and it cleanses, washes away make up and exfoliates without drying. I have been using this product for a few years now and my only complaint is that it runs out too quickly! I, like most young ladies, have tried on a number of occasions to follow a dedicated beauty regime but I always ...

I do love a good facial scrub and I love that I can use this one every day without damaging my skin, I always feel I have come away from the shower with the perfect clean base for applying my moisturiser and make up! My only problem is that my partner also uses it so it runs out twice as quick! ...

Exfoliating heaven

Advantages: deep clean's, softness of skin
Disadvantages: price

Best exfoliater found! I bought this to try and see if it would work on my skin. I was shocked at how easy and at how clean my skin felt after the first time using it. The Orange Extract's that are in the exfoliater work really well to put the vitamin C back in to the skin. The little tiny bead's that are in the exfoliater is brilliant to really clean the pore's and make the skin smooth and silky. They are added extra for the deep clean. The ...
