    I seem to have a bit of a thing for Clean and Clear products at the moment. This time I am writing about their Deep Cleansing Facial Wipes. In the past I have tried a couple of brands of facial wipes, but I find they do not clean all that well and end up using them as an extra cleanser after I have washed my face. I know that kind of defeats the purpose as they are designed to take away the hassle.     I never use soap on my face and never have since I was about 6 years old and got a problem with extremely dry skin and had to use cream rather than soap to deal with the problem. Obviously I still want my skin to be clean and as such I use facial wipes instead of soap morning and night and I am not generally fussy which ones I use as long as they are a decent price (my skin only dries out with soap) A packet of these wipes holds 25 wipes and I bought them at Asda when they were half price so I picked them up for £1 a pack instead of £2, people who have read some of my previous reviews will ... more

    Having oily skin I need a facial wipe that not only cleanses but fights against spots too and I think I’ve found them. Clean and clear wipes come in a purple and blue packet about A5 sized, contain 25 wipes per pack and have a sticky foil seal on top to stop them drying out. Which really works as even the very last wipe is still lovely and moist. The packet has instructions of how to use them, which is to unfold the wipe and gently wipe over face and neck avoiding the eye area.     When it comes to face wipes, I don't tend to stick to a particular brand, I just go for what is cheapest. I must admit that the St Ives brand is my favourite, but given that these wipes are expensive, I don't buy them unless they're on offer. Last week, I found these wipes in Boots for £1.95 (for a packet of 25). They were on special offer and usually retail at around £3. There are obviously many more brands that are a lot cheaper, but I tend to find that the cheaper they are, the worse the quality.     I saw a pack of Clean & Clear deep cleansing facial wipes and they were cheap, so I thought that I'd have them. The other similar products on the shelves next to it, were like £3.99, so this seemed like a bargain at only £1.29. The packaging- as well as the price- persuaded me to buy this product, because of it's pure blue-green background. It looked attractive to the eye and not O.T.T. with colours. These wipes really hydrate and moisturise dry skin, as well as cleansing skin deeply. They reduce redness and help prevent spots, because they clean right down to pores.     When i enitially started getting a lot of spots a couple of years ago this was one of the first products I started using and it did not work for me and made me think that all of these face washes that were meant to get rid and prevent spots were all cons. I was wrong about that but i wasn't wrong about this useless product. I am sorry to give such a negative review as most of my reviews are positive and most of the reviews on this product are positive but this product did nothing for me at all and was a total waist of money.     I recently bought Clean & Clear Facial Wipes, mainly because I have always been very lax when it comes to washing my face at bed-time, and decided to try these wipes. The price was also a definite advantage! I have to say, I love these wipes! They work well - my skin is clearer than it has been in a long time, and they don't dry out the skin or leave it feeling tight. My skin is soft and smooth after using the Clean & Clear Wipes and my adult acne has definitely reduced. I break out less, and when I do break out, the acne clears up a lot quicker.     As a 17 year old girl, i'm constantly worrying about bad break outs, luckily i've never had a serious problem with spots, just get the odd few every now and again. Even though i do not have a serious spot problem, i still like to make sure i get rid of them quickly, and make sure they do not come back!     Advantages Advantages refreshing to use and do help combat and prevent spots.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages you have to have patience with these and continuously use them to see the effects

    I LOVE THESE CLEANSING WIPES They have really worked for me and not only are the refreshing but they actually help combat spots!!! I'v tried other brands before but they seem not to help with my complexion, i have tried cheap priced rages up to the expencive ones and to be quiet honest for what you are getting for your money with clean & clear is good, im happy with them. Clean & Clear is a product produced by Johnson & Johnson.     I normally use a cleanser and toner but i was going to t in the park so decided to buy facial wipes as they are easier to carry around.I chose this brand because i had tried a sample one and they were cheaper than the rest that i saw. They are like baby wipes and you just wipe them all over your face and they cleanse and tone it. They leave your face feeling very refreshed and seem to clean your face deep down removing all your make up and dirt.
