Clearasil Pore Purifying Wipes, a god send! I have suffered from mild to bad acne since I was thirteen and now I have finally started to win the contest. And this is all down to the wipes. Priced at £3.99 for 25 wipes, they are expensive but they do the job effectively. I do find it inconvenient though as, if you use as directed, you would need to buy a new pack every fortnight. I hate getting spots! just thought I'd share that with everyone. If you are like me and have tried everything from gels, creams and masks to natural remedies such as cider vinegar and garlic (yes this was supposed to work believe me!) then although this product doesn't totally eliminate spots it does make spots clear up quicker and feel squeeky clean! I have been using these for a couple of years now. You can get them from Boots, Superdrug, etc, as well as most supermarkets. The cost £3.59 from Boots, and about the same everywhere else. This is quite good value, because you get 65 pads in a pot. It recommends using them twice daily, but I usually only use them at night, preferring to use a different cleanser in the mornings. I saw an advert for these on T.V. and thought they looked easy to use and I have bad problems with blackheads, so I would give them a try. The pads come in a plastic tub with a screw lid. The pads lasted ages, but that was probably because I only used tem at night because they made my skin sticky and it says on the tub not to rinse it off. It says to use them twice a day but I couldn't. They dried my skin out so I ended up with oily skin in some parts of my face and flaky dry skin in others. These things are pretty much a waste of money in my opinion! i feel with all these products there'snot much they can do for problem skin and seem to make rather shallow promises. However on the surface they are a good method of cleansing being both quick and easy and relatively effective at wiping away everyday grime. I do feel though that the same effects could have been reached with a bowl of warm water and a bar of soap. Now I have used this product only once and can honestly say never again, I am a person who has very sensitive skin and thought these would be good to cleans it well. Oh boy was I mistaken from the moment I put it on my face it starting itching and irritating so I rapidly began to try and wash it offbut it carried on to irritate my face.
