Advantages Advantages Reduces or removes spots very quickly and consistently

Disadvantages Disadvantages None - a perfect product

Welcome to part 1 of my three-part guide to fighting spots. First up is Clearasil Treatment Cream. Being a teenager, in the past couple of years I’ve had my fair share of problems with spots, but at the moment I am using a daily routine including three products that has greatly reduced and almost completely eliminated my spots. All three of the products I use will be described in upcoming opinions in this series of 3, and none of them seem to be very successful without the other two. There will be alternative methods of treating spots – probably better ones than this, but this is ... more

    Advantages Advantages It actually works...

Disadvantages Disadvantages ...but not as quickly as it promises to!

Just a couple months ago I was so fed up with the spots on my face. I'm 17 years old and thought I was a bit old to be getting spots like I had. I decided to go to Superdrug to see what I could find, and ended up with this Clearasil treatment cream. It cost me £4.99 but I was happy to pay this for something which would work. Advantages Advantages Clears up spots really well

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Is really expensive

And can only apply it to clean skin, directly into spots. You only get a 30ml pot and this does not last very long as you have to apply it every day. For best use a face wash in the shower then a deep clear clearasil cleanser before then finally the rapid action spot buster! If you are allergic to hydrogen peroxide do not use it as it contains this ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages can dry skin, burning sensation sometimes

I have been using "Ultra Clearasil" cream for a few years now, buying tube after tube after tube. If they sold it buy the box I would do it that way!. During my teenage years I had a few spots and tried almost everything with varying but inconsistent results. I found this product one day and after a few days my skin dried out which showed that it was working. I know that it sounds like a bad thing but I started using an exfoliator which would scruff away the old skin and slowly realese the new younger looking skin. Instead of buying a facial scrub I just go to the beach and get find wind-blown ... more
