Advantages: Really covers dark patches/blemishes Disadvantages: Have to rub quite hard to get it to blend in
...in a pack of three Clinique products which I bought. I needed a new concealer and since I had used the 'YSL Touche Eclat' before, which is the same idea as this one, I thought I would really like it.
The pen itself comes in a plastic mint green colour and comes with a silver lid that easily pulls on and clips back on again. I really like the colour of the pen and I think the silver writing on the front of it looks really classy.
Once you have taken ... ...number 03 (even on the Clinique home page!) The shades that I found it to come in are 01 Fair, 02 Medium and 04 Neutral Fair. This means that you can get a shade which will fit with your own skin colour. I personally have the 'Neutral Fair' shade and think that it really blends in well with my natural skin colour. You really can't tell that I am wearing concealer when I have it on.
I think that it really hides blemishes and dark patches really well. ...

...So I went to the Clinique counter and had a look around I finally found the Airbrush Conceal but there were a choice of four shades. The one I had been given was the lightest of fair but having a tan this was just looking too light for me. So the next one down is Neutral Fair which I ended up going for but I now think I show have bought the 3rd one in Medium as it is dark enough. These concealers don’t seem to differ much in colour; they all seem ... ...the front is the silver Clinique logo indented into the box which is a nice touch. In the pen you get 1.5ml of it which is enough as it is only for covering blemishes etc not foundation. The product is 100% fragrance free and allergy tested and the ingredients are all listed on the side of the box for more detail.
The actual Airbrush pen itself is very nicely designed. Like all Clinique products the pen is the usual light green colour. It has a ...

...I treated myself to 3 Clinique products a) because I wanted to get some decent makeup
b) because Boots were giving away 800 points with 3 purchases.
Still felt a bit guilty spending a total of £50 on makeup but here's hoping it'll last. The Airbrush concealer was £15.00 for a pen-sized tube containing 1.5ml. That's £10.00 PER MILLILITRE! Eek, this better be good! According to Clinique, this product "is a light reflecting makeup must-have. If you order from Clinique.com and join Club Clinique you are eligible for free samples when you order, competitions etc. You may be able to find it cheaper on the internet such as on ebay.

Advantages: Light, easy to apply and blend - it works! Disadvantages: May be too expensive for some.
...apply in one simple step. Clinique coined this little beauty as in airbrush, which is probably getting a little bit carried away, but non the less it's very good. There are other versions of this style of applicator springing up all over the place now - and I'm not sure who was the first company to make it, but another example is Yves Saint Laurent - Touche Eclat (which is a cult product I have yet to try!), and I've seen some other cheaper versions ... ...12.5cm long, in the classic Clinique green, with a silver lid and silver writing. At the opposite end from the lid is a twistable piece, which is what allows the product to flow. If you remove the lid you will find a beautifully soft brush with white bristles, like the kind you'd paint a watercolour with. ~How does it work?~
It's very simple. When you first buy the product, the brush is white, clean and free from product - when you come to use it ...

...same under eye concealer from Clinique for years now. So when I breezed through Debenhams a couple of weeks back I was really hoping to be able to pick some up immediately and be on my way without the need for undue scrutiny by one of their sales staff.
No such luck.

She volunteered this Clinique Airbrush concealer. Fine, think I: I’ll have some. But whoa there cowboy, slow down the horses, this lady has obviously been taught how to sell the stuff so sell it she will - even though I’m already “sold” if you see what I mean!

...and bought this product: the Clinique Airbrush Concealer. The advantage of buying products from a counter with a person behind it, rather than off the shelf, is that they can advise you, and I've always found Clinique people very helpful. If you buy this product, I recommend talking to a consultant about the right shade and make sure it gives the right coverage level for you.

********What's my opinion? Does it do the job?

...packaged in the same way, Clinique has copied this idea for its concealer, as have other companies such as L'Oréal. The Clinique concealer is finished in its trademark organic green colouring, with the company logo and product information gracing the little pen in silver. Advantages: Flawless coverage, quick and easy to apply, and reasonable price for a higher end product Disadvantages: May need to reapply after a few hours
The Clinique Airbrush Concealer is a smooth illuminating cover-up for blemishes and dark circles. It comes as a "pen" with a slim brush as the applicator. A turn of the end of the pen dispenses the concealer when the brush runs out. I have been using this concealer for 4 years now and I can confidently say that I will never use another. I have struggled for years to find a concealer that truly does conceal. I have suffered with acne for years and have been left with scarring on my chin, therefore I need a GOOD concealer. (For people with sensitive skin, this brush is a saviour: no greasy fingertips!) I find that it works well if you apply it on top of your foundation and apply powder/ bronzer on top. It covers the purple scars, which is a miracle, yet it is light enough to allow your skin to breath, therefore preventing more spots from forming.
Although this concealer is quite expensive (£12), personally, I find it worth it for the coverage I get. The only problem ...

The concealer is so easy to use, just twist the base and a small amount of the formula appears through the brush tp be applied.
