Advantages Advantages No clogged up skin, fewer breakouts and soft, smooth skin.

Disadvantages Disadvantages It's expensive.... but it really is worth it. Cheaper brands don't compare!

Clinique's Anti-Blemish range has done wonders for my oily skin type. Since switching to their clarifying lotion as a toner a couple of years ago I have never found another brand as good as it since, so it seemed only right I gave their moisturiser in this range a go! Clinique Clinique are an offshoot from the Estee Lauder company and were founded in 1968. Clinique claim to cater for individual's needs and realises that everyone has a different skin type. They are most famous for their 3-step skin care regimes, which consists of 3 products and often comes with the line '3 Products. 3 Minutes ... more

Advantages Advantages moisturises extremely well, excellent coverage, gets rid of blemishes quickly without being harsh

Disadvantages Disadvantages can be a bit expensive if your budget for beauty products isn't very large

My personal Opinion I've reviewed quite a few Clinique products now, having used them religiously since I was a teenager. I was always one of those people who got spots from negative emotions such as stress, tiredness etc, so you can imagine that as a teenager, with all those raging hormones, I always had at least one. I was never the kind of person that suffered from acne, but I was always uncomfortable with them. After having seen the doctor and refusing to go on the pill (I didn't want to gain weight), he told me to try the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions range as his own daughter did, so i ... more

Advantages Advantages Worked fab to kick my problem skin into touch, has a gorgeous consistency, surprisingly economical

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Initial price

During the sixth month of my last pregnancy my skin decided it didn't like this state of affairs and revolted. It was mainly my facial skin, pretty much overnight my usually clear skin erupted into a mass of redness and (eugh!) spots. As if my rapidly increasing weight and heartburn wasn't enough for me to contend with. Sigh. I needed something to nip this in the bud, I'm the first to admit I'm vain about the skin on my face - my whole adult life I've been blessed with decent skin, and I was NOT about to let that change so hotfooted it into town to see what I could do about it. I'd been to ... more

I received my tube of Clinique’s anti-blemish solutions oil-free moisturiser as part of the Clinique 1-2-3 step skin care range. I had read such great things about these products and the benefits that they had to your skin so I decided that I had to seek these benefits for myself and I am glad I did as I think this has to be the best range of skin care that I have ever used. Packaging The moisturiser comes in a tube with a screw top lid at the bottom. This means the product can stand on its lid, which is beneficial as it makes the product easier to squeeze out. However be careful not to ... more

Advantages Advantages has cleared my skin better than anything else, my skin is soft smooth and spot free.

Disadvantages Disadvantages it is more costly than other products

I have suffered with Acne for the past 15 years and have tried every thing from clearasil to anitbiotics to Roaccutane from a dermatologist. My skin is very oily and prone to persistant blackheads, and I suffer with larger "hormonal" spots on my chin and around my mouth. I get the odd very large cystic spot (under the skin). on top of this i suffer with dry skin on top of my nose and around healing spots and the occasional dryness on my cheeks. I started using Clinique anti blemish moisturiser about 2 weeks ago after visiting boots. I had used clinique in the past and found it left my skin ... more

This review is a follow up to a previous review I did on my anti blemish 3 step system by Clinique. I know I have not done them in the right order, and I do apologise, but they will all be completed soon. Today I am reviewing step 3 of the system, my previous review was on step 2 (toner) but this one is about the moisturiser that comes with it. I will start with telling you why I use this product. I have had really crappy skin for years, I had a big problem with acne when I was younger, and the Dr's gave me al sorts to help me (tablets, creams, facial roll ons..) none of these really helped ... more

I was bought this as part of a present and I was very impressed. I don't normally buy myself items that I see as luxury like this as I can buy a 'cheaper' version so it was nice to recieve it as a gift. Clinique are very high in their quality which is reflected in their prices so I was delighted to have been bought some good quality products. They mainly make make-up and skin care products but they do also make perfumes too. This moisturiser also has the added extra of being 'anti blemish' too. It comes in a pale green tube with a cap. It is designed to stand 'upside down' so that the ... more

Advantages Advantages Hydrating, helps clear and smooth skin, absorbs excess oil

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I use this moisturiser alongside the Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam and Clarifying Lotion. I was initially a bit worried about using this moisturiser as I usually use a mattifying moisturiser during the day, so I felt that I might be left with shiny skin. Although this moisturiser's description mentions its oil controlling properties, I'd ordinarily go for a more explicitly mattifying lotion, i.e. one with the word mattifying in its name. However, I needn't have worried. This product is incredibly light-weight and is absorbed quickly and easily by my skin. I'd usually leave a bit of ... more
