Advantages Advantages really good quality product

Disadvantages Disadvantages none except some may find it too expensive

Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter I received this body butter as a sample and I have to admit it has me convinced. Since I have got pregnant I have found the skin on my face very dry however I am still prone to taking spots so its hard to get something that will moisturise my skin without breaking out in spots. **WHAT IT IS* It is a body butter, which will replenish your skin. It will soothe your body including dryness-prone spots giving your skin moisture. It will help make your skin less dry and smoother looking. You can use it on your face or any part of your body. **PACKAGING** My sample ... more

Advantages Advantages Intensive Moisturiser, Suitable for Sensitive Skin

Disadvantages Disadvantages No Perfumed After Smell

I am addicted to any moisturising product, I just adore that feeling of totally soft and smooth skin that you only get all day with a really decent moisturiser. And that's why I'm going to take it upon myself to introduce you all to the world of Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter - a godsend! Clinique is a product I've always trusted, it's an offshoot of Estee Lauder which instantly gives it the seal of approval from me! It was founded in 1968 and aimed to cater for individual women's needs and customize to each skin type! Thumbs up for effort then! * PACKAGING * As with all Clinique products ... more

    Advantages Advantages Moisturises well; gentle

    Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive

I bought this as part of a Clinique pack-the body moisturiser and exfoliator, for £36.50. This on it's own costs £19.50. It comes in a large, easy access, round 200ml tub, with a silver lid so that you take out as much cream as is needed. The tub is plastic and partially see-through, so there's a yellow colour showing through. I think that this is quite light (being a plastic tub), and therefore can be taken travelling on holiday with you. This product claims to be a very strong intense moisturiser for your body, protecting from free radical damage too. This is especially good for these summer ... more

Advantages Advantages Smells absolutely gorgeous, helped with a patch of eczema

Disadvantages Disadvantages An odd texture which makes it very hard to successfully rub in

This was another freebie I was given by a friend of a friend who works on one of the many Clinique counters in Birmingham, I was actually given a hand full of the small 25ml sample tubes as well as one part used tub. I've never been much of a fan of Clinique's skincare items (despite liking their make-up) but I DO like most body butters I've tried so thought this would be a good way to try something a bit more premium than the Body Shop. Not that I'm dissing the Body Shop here, I actually love a lot of their stuff, but that's somewhere where I can actually afford to shop regularly - the ... more

3 Stars Great product, scary price! Review with images 04/10/2011

Advantages Advantages made my skin look healthy, long lasting moisture

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price, need loads per use

I got Clinique’s deep comfort body butter as a 40ml sample size. I must admit although I have tried quite a few of the Clinique skin care and make-up products, their body care range had never really interested me. I like my bath and body products to be strongly scented and fun to use, and in comparison, products like this Deep Comfort Body Butter seemed rather bland. My sample size came in a cream coloured tube, but the full sized version comes in a glass pot with a silver screw top lid. Whilst I would agree that the full size packaging looks classy, and would make a bit of a statement on ... more

Advantages Advantages Does work, subtle scent.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Won't last, very expensive.

Price and Availability My Mum buys quite a lot of expensive beauty products and as a result always tends to get loads of free samples which I usually get first choice on. I have quite a few body butters and lotions at home as I tend to lather it on every day after a shower to keep my skin nice and soft. For this reason I was keen to try Clinique Deep Comfort Body Butter when my Mum recently received a small sample tube. The product usually costs £21 in Debenhams although it’s slightly cheaper online, this for me is an extortionate price and would recommend anyone who’s interested in the ... more

Advantages Advantages Leaves skin really smooth

Disadvantages Disadvantages Hard to rub in, leaves skin sticky

I didn't actually buy this myself but got a few 50ml bottles as samples. To be honest I wouldn't generally buy things like body lotion from a brand like Clinique because I think they are far too expensive for something that isn't going on your face, and doesn't really need to be good quality. I've looked into it and it is £13.50 for a 200ml bottle if you were to buy it from the official Clinique site. Packaging To be honest I'm not that keen on the packaging (which is the same on the sample bottle as the full sized) I usually like the clean, simple look of Clinique products, but I found this ... more

I love free gifts. Especially when you happen to be standing at the Clinique counter in Boots when you get them! I went shopping on Saturday for a present for my friend, and had decidided to buy her some lovely Clinique things as she's just bought a house and is too poor at the moment to treat herself. So there I am, trying in vain to remember the names of the products I know she likes, with the very posh Clinique lady staring open eyed at me like I have my glasses on upside down, as I describe the 2 items I want to buy. Describing them was no problem - remembering what they were called was ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Best bought in the tube not the tub

I was given a trial selection including this product for Christmas the other year ('04), I threw some stuff away but have found I can't live without this body butter. I suffer quite a bit in the winter with the cold and windy weather drying out certain sections on my face especially being a horse and dog owner I'm constantly outdoors, and the heating doesn't help either. I was using Vaseline to try and combat the problem but this stuff is genius. You only need a little bit (which I quickly found out after applying a huge dollop and having a tacky/sticky feeling face for about an hour) because ... more
