*****Clinique Exfoliating Scrub***** I don't really go in for a lot of these high class beauty regimes - I'm not a big fan of makeup, or indeed anything else that seeks to cover up a woman's true beauty. I think our beauty is more about who we are as women, than whether we have long eyelashes, perfectly curved eyebrows, and ruby red lips. A lot of women's decoration has come about as a way to attract and appease men, and whilst I'm not against feeling attractive to the opposite sex, I don't think our womanly attraction or beauty or appeal can be applied with a mascara wand or a lip brush. Advantages Advantages effective exfoliator

Disadvantages Disadvantages too pricey for what it is, leavse skin red for ages after use

I went through a phase of buying myself luxury brands of skincare and body care, but the more of them I use, the more I find the majority are no better than budget brands. Clinique is a well known brand, but not a brand I have much experience of. I have used a few of the products in the past, but on the whole had negative experiences, which is why in general I have avoided the brand. I decided to give them another go though and decided on trying their seven day scrub because my skin is very dry, and now that we’ve got the colder weather it is looking especially bad on my forehead, where it is ... more

Advantages Advantages Very fine grains, refreshing menthol sensation

Disadvantages Disadvantages Uncanny resemblance to gritty toothpaste!

I'm a major Clinique fan, so when I saw this scrub in a discount cosmetics store in the US whilst on holiday I just had to try it. I got it there for around $15, over here it is sold for £14.50 for 100ml. (If you like Clinique, definitely look out for it if you're in the US on holiday, it is much cheaper!). I tend to use an exfoliating scrub once a week, or just before an evening out. I find it makes my foundation look more even and go a lot further, and it clears and minimises pores and blackheads. I've tried lots of different brands, from the old faithful Aapri (ouch those big rough apricot ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages expensive!!!!!

I was very much attracted to this product by seeing the advertisements in magazines thought i will give a try.costs around £15 in debenhams.Product packaging is very attractive.I basically brought this product as i was very impressed with their other products.I think this scrub really exfoliates the skin very very strongly but is a little bit harsh on the skin(mine is combination skin) and make your skin more dry.definitely not for dry skin which may make the problem more worse!! And it is more expensive too!! It is more strong compared to other products probably that's what makes the skin ... more

Advantages Advantages Refreshing and cooling. Not tested on animals!

Disadvantages Disadvantages May irritate sensitive skin types

I use Clinique Exfoliating Scrub whenever my skin feels and looks tired and grey. It polishes off all dead skin cells and leaves my face feeling and looking fresher than ever! Compared to other exfoliators I've tried in the past, this makes me really awake! I love the cooling feel to it. For me it even have a very positive effect on acne and blackheads which have been a major problem for me all my life since I was a teenager. And maybe it's my imagination, but it seems like my wrinkles become less visible as well! It makes me feel even younger and my skin looks clear and fresh. Kind of the way ... more

Advantages Advantages Exfoliates, makes your skin feel clean, fresh and smooth

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None

I offen use clinique for make-up rather than their cleansing products. After I was recomended the scrub by a friend, this was the first cleansing product I had brought in the clinique range. I am extremly happy with the results! Unlike most scrubs, this one is very thick and you only need a 5 pence size to do your whole face! It lasts longer than most scrubs also, so do not be afraid to spend the extra pound or two, it's worth every penny! Also unlike most scrubs, this is gentle and doesn't leave your skin feeling 'scratched'. It leaves your skin feeling fresh, soft and smooth (an ideal canvas ... more

I have been using this scrub for years and it is the best facial scrub on the market. It makes your skin feel really clean and gets rid of the dead skins cells to make your skin really soft and receptive to oher creams. I also think it is great value for money as you only need a small amount, so lasts for ages. I would recommend this product for all skins. Advantages Advantages Clears skin, makes it softer.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Can make your skin dry

As an avid clinique fan, I already know the importance of exfoliation. I decided to give this product a go as i had recieved a tester after my last shopping spree. THE TEST I thoroughly cleansed my skin with my clinique soap. I then rinsed my face and squeezed out a small amount of exfoliator, which had tiny round beads in it and a distinct smell of mint. I massaged it into my skin in circular movements, making sure to avoid my eyes. I also used it on my neck, as i often get rough patches of skin there. Its suprisingly refreshing, creamy texture worked wonders!! As i rinsed the product off, my ... more
