Advantages Advantages Leave lips feeling moisturised, large range of shades, long lasting

Disadvantages Disadvantages Price, could do with a few more different colours

I was recently having a browse in my local Boots to pass a bit of time and found myself looking at the Clinique products, one in particular which caught my eye was the Clinique High Impact Lip Colour SPH 15, I had already heard a little bit about this lipstick and had heard some good reviews about it and although it was a bit on the pricey side I decided to buy myself some to give it a go. If it proved to be as "High Impact" and long lasting as the name suggested it would be ideal for nights out and days racing when it is not always practical to keep topping up your lippie. The Packaging ... more

I own very few lipsticks, as I am resolutely a lip gloss girl. I like how glosses are able to moisturise your lips and well as make them look attractive, and I have rarely found the same in lipsticks. I would also say that I limit significant lip colour to night time events, as I prefer more subtle make up during the day. When I do go for some colour at light however, it is most often a muted nude or pink-based shade. Just before Christmas I received a promotional pack of products that contained one of the High Impact shades, Nude Beach. As the name suggests, this is a nude-based colour that ... more

I normally wear lipgloss for my day to day activities. I find it's quite flattering but does not look too over the top or too made up. However, for big nights out when I want to look really glam I like to wear a lipstick. Lipstick obviously gives you a much different look than gloss and for me it really highlights my lips and makes them the focus of my look. I only have one or two lipsticks as I don't really wear them that often but the brand I always use is Clinique. I think I first tried their high impact lip colour as a tester (as I generally do with all my Clinique purchases as I find they ... more

Clinique High Impact Lip Colour is one of my favorite brands of lipstick, its not often that I buy a lipstick and find that I do now tend to stick to certain brands. This one will cost you £16 from the Clinique site if you buy online, I usually buy online as I live rural and the nearest town to me is 14 miles away so the convenience of getting things delivered to my door is good for me. Although I dfo have to pay extra for postage, but it saves me on bus fares and diesel if I have to drive the car to town to shop. This can also be bought at Boots for £15 The price may seem a little steep for a ... more

    Disadvantages Disadvantages price

I think I must have a bit of an addiction to beauty related freebies with magazines and this was one I was definitely looking forward to trying. Glamour magazine a couple of months ago were giving away Clinique freebies and I have to admit I was one of those people that hunted high and low for all the samples and I managed to bag myself all of them! I was really looking forward to trying out the High Impact Lip Colour and lots of times I have swatched them at the Clinique counters but I couldn't ever justify to myself buying a lipstick at the price of near on £15 just because. The packaging ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages doesn't last long, quite expensive

I am a huge fan of Clinique and have been for a long time - I love their no-nonsense packaging and their ethical approach to cosmetics. So I was thrilled to get a Clinique high impact lipstick free with Glamour magazine (in the colour Rosette). I thought it was such a good deal at the time (as these lipsticks retail for about 15 pounds.) that I went out and bought 2 more - one as a backup and one for my mum. The colour Rosette is the only one I own and therefore the only one on which I can comment. It is a lovely pink colour with a subtle gold shimmer. As for the formular - well, it fels ... more

Advantages Advantages Moisturising, does not dry out, contains SPF 15, gorgeous shades

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some may find this expensive at £15

Clinique High Impact Lip Colour Here is what Clinique has to say for this product: "An ultra-moisturising, long wearing lipstick forumula that protects lips with SPF15 sun protection. Lasts up to 8 hours." I recently picked up the shade "Rosette" which is a very natural pink, it almost matches the natural colour of my lips exactly but more so enhances them, Clinique describes this shade as 'golden rose'. This shade contains a sparkly golden shimmer which creates a 3D plumping effect making my lips look fuller and they really 'pop'. The formula is soft and balmy and feels rich and moisturising ... more

I'm choosing to write about Clinique High Impact Lip Colour lipstick, This comes in lots of shades and the range is mainly pinks, reds and orangy colours, I would prefer the range to be lots of different colours rather than just shades of pink or red, however when I purchased mine I choose the sassy spice shade which is a red colour, it's the deepest red shade they do in the Clinique High Impact Lip Colour range, I like to wear red lipstick with pale skin and dark eyes as I think it looks brilliant. Clinique High Impact Lip Colour lip stick can be purchased in classy high street shops such as ... more
