Advantages Effectively removes even the most stubborn eye-makeup
Disadvantages Effectively removes your eyelids too

Since Clinique are one of my favourite brands (due to the fact that they cater well to my skin and are animal friendly) their rinse-off eye makeup solvent seemed too good to be true. The blurb claims that it is a “fast, water-rinsable eye makeup dissolver” which “cleans up eyes easily without disturbing other makeup”. The question is, can any product really clean up eye makeup without making you look like a panda, and without interfering with any other makeup you might be wearing? The answer is: possibly. Advantages does the job
Disadvantages expensive

This is another product that I got free within 1 of the many Clinique Bonus Time freebie bags that I have accumulated over the years. I'm sure most of you know about these freebies as i'm mentioned them in the other reviews that I have done, but basically often Clinique run an offer where if you buy 2 full sized products from the range then you get a little bag which has 7-8 little free trial products in them. The size of these little freebies vary a bit but you should get a few goes out of each of the freebies so you should be able to work out if you feel the products work ok for you. I got ... more

Advantages Removes eye make up really well, easy to use.
Disadvantages Expensive.

I’m not a buyer of Clinique but as my Mum’s a big fan I do tend to use a lot of her products, I do like to wear a lot of eye makeup, especially on a night out so it’s essential that I have a decent eye makeup remover to get rid of my panda eyes. A bottle on my Mum’s dressing table which doesn’t seem to get much use from her is Clinique’s Rinse- Off Eye Makeup Solvent. Although Clinique products are available from many online retailers my Mum prefers to buy in store and she picked this particular product up in Debenhams for £14.50 for a 125ml bottle. I love Clinique products but they are not cheap, however this is the best eye make up remover I have ever had the pleasure to use, it is excellent at its job and what is more it is very kind to my skin as well. It is not cheap as I paid £18.99 for a 125ml bottle which is a bright blue colour with a silver twist off lid. It is easy to use and you do not need to apply a lot at any one time as it is very fast working, in fact when I have only applied a light make up on the eyes I find that it will remove it after only a couple of wipes it really is that efficient, for heavier mascara it takes a ... more

Advantages Doesn't sting or burn you eyes or skin, can be used for long lasting lipsticks
Disadvantages expensive, smudges the better waterproof mascaras before removing them

Rinse-Off Eye Makeup Solvent I used this last year when I was on holiday. It made removing waterproof mascara really easy. It didn’t make eye eyes water or sting when taking off mascara. It did smudge my mascara at first but after holding the cotton ball against my lashes for a few seconds, all of the mascara came off quickly. It removes eye shadow and eyeliner easily just by gently moving the cotton wool over my eyelids. It’s also really good for removing long lasting lipstick (like Max Factor LipFinity), as long as you don’t lick your lips before washing the remover off! It doesn’t taste too ... more

I bought this after reading some positive reviews. I have very sensitive skin around my eyes which tends to get irritated after the vigirous rubbing that is usually required to get the make up off my eyes. After reading some positive reviews I decided to give it a go, and splashed out £11.50 for 125 ml of the stuff. I got this at Debenhams who were doing one of clinique's bonus time offers where you buy two products and get a box of 8 free samples of clinique products - that softened the blow slightly.
