Advantages: Natural looking and light Disadvantages: Doesn't last as long on as it could
Clinique Almost Makeup SPF15 is a sheer alternative to foundation. It's somewhere between foundation and tinted moisturiser in terms of coverage and benefits. You can get it from Clinique counters in department stores, or online, so it's usually easy to find. It comes in 4 different shades from 'Fair' through to 'Deep', and it costs £18.50 for a 45ml tube.
It contains SPF15 non-chemical sunscreens and Antioxidants, to protect your skin from environmental ... ...ophthalmologist tested, so it's safe for use on all skin types, and around the delicate eye area. It's a waterproof formula for long wear, and it contains light-diffusing particles to help mask imperfections, and botanical extracts to soothe the skin.
It comes in a small green tube with a silver screw-on lid. It's easy to get it out of the tube without ending up with too much, and you don't need to use a lot at a time. The best way to apply it is ...

Advantages: Blends well, isn't heavy, protects against sun related skin damage Disadvantages: Can get water-y (separates), expensive, middling coverage
...another day). The consultant recommended Clinique Almost Make Up. It would be fair to say that this stuff falls somewhat between a tinted moisturiser and a full blown foundation. It comes in a green tube (thus resembling a moisturiser), but it has a full range of colours and shades (Although I'm pretty fair, I'm using 03 - Medium, as I bought it when I had a bit of a tan). The consistency is thinner than a foundation (in fact, it sometimes comes ... ...shake the tube well). The tube tells me it's fragrance free and allergy tested. I've never experienced any irritation when using this, but my skin isn't especially prone to it (though when I used Mac foundation, I did notice a slight burning sensation). The smell is indeed quite neutral - there is a slight moisturiser/chemical smell, but nothing offensive, and not terribly noticeable, especially once it's applied. It goes on well, and blends easily, ...

Advantages: ~Light, Waterproof, SPF 15~ Disadvantages: ~Only comes in 6 shades.~
...so when I asked the Clinique rep what the sheerest makeup they had was, she directed me to this. I use Deep in the Winter, Deep 2 in Spring and Fall and Bronze in the Summer. I love the fact that this foundation is not only waterproof, but also has a good SPF factor of 15. I am going to say that I would never tell someone what to use, but I would recommend that if you are in need of coverage, this foundation is NOT the one for you.
Fair: This closely ... ...away with soap and water. Clinique would recommend their three-step process... I simply recommend Aveeno Moisturizing Bar with Colloidal Oatmeal. As usual, make sure your hands are clean before makeup application. Any oils and dirt/grime from your hands just spells disaster for your facial complexion. Avoid touching your face excessively throughout the day as well.
From Clinique.co.uk: Protects all skins with subtle colour and the sheerest coverage. ...

Advantages: Waterproof, has SPF 15 Disadvantages: None really
...would reccomend asking at the Clinique counter. They are fairly expensive so you wouldnt want to choose the wrong one! And when I was talking to the lady at the counter, she was talking about yellow tones and pink tones etc. and basically a load of things to look for in a foundation, and advice to help you choose in the future.
You should apply with clean hands it to your face after cleansing so make sure your face is clean and be careful to blend ... ...it off it comes off easily with just a normal facewash, as any other foundation does.
It contains antioxidants, and protects your skin from the suns damaging rays (SPF 15). It is also oil-free so its good if you are prone to oily skin and spots, aswell as being very light.
Thanks for the read... Im am getting closer to that red dot! Missarty :P ...

...change significantly. I chose this clinique one, because my sister uses their products and recommended them to me.
The woman at the counter looked at me as if I was mental when I said I wanted a foundation which wouldn't completely cover up my freckles, but she was still very helpful. That's one of the things I like about Clinique generally; the people are generally very helpful - even if they do look strange. Anyway, after much um-ing and ah-ing, ... ...me from shining. I'm sure Clinique would say you get better results if you use all their other products as well, but I'm not made of money!
It doesn't irritate my skin, which is a good sign, as lots of things do. It has spf15 which is good for skin in general. I think this is fine for everyday in England but I wouldn't rely on it on holiday, I'd always use extra sun block too as I've no idea how long it would last.
I don't use foundation everyday, ...

Advantages: Lasts for ages Disadvantages: not realy suitable for greasy skins
...me off to my nearset Clinique counter for a make over in full view of the entire store by a woman who looked suspiciously like Billie Piper. Anyway, this foundation.....is alright, giving that its really a tinted moisturiser, and so only those lucky souls with the most perfect of skins will not need to bother with concealor as well. It can get quite greasy, especially if you've got quite greasy skin already, and it is expensive,(around thirteen pounds). ... ...for a consultaion with a Clinique representative, you are bound to find the shade to suit you. All things considered, it is an OK foundation, although it has to be said, the only reason I am still using it is because I am too lazy to search out another foundation that might suit me better. ...

...skin that hates anything but Clinique products. This gives enough coverage to even things out without looking overdone. You only need a little bit to cover your face so the tube last ages and is well worth the money. I also find that the staff on the Clinique counters are really good at giving advice, and don't try to sell you products that you don't need. The best thing to do when buying Clinique products though is to watch out for their Bonus Time ...
