Perfect (fake) tan preparation!

Advantages: Refreshing, really good at removing dead skin, great packaging.
Disadvantages: None

Minty, refreshed and silky smooth.....exactly how I feel after using Clinique's 'sparkle skin' Body Exfoliating Cream. I own various different body exfoliants, salt rubs, exfoliating scrubs, and various different body buffing accessories, but nothing quite beats this. While others are all adequate, and achieve nice smooth skin, this product just seems to be slightly above them in several ways. The product contains scores of little granules, and although ...
...other exfoliants, I find they are more effective at removing that scabby scaly skin to reveal fresh new skin. Most of you will probably be aware of how an exfoliant works, but for anyone who isn’t, basically it is like sandpapering your dead skin off to achieve a fresh clean skin (only not as harsh as sandpaper obviously!) THE CREAM I suppose containers and packaging shouldn’t bother me, but they do. I tend to look a lot at the packaging of products, ...

Sparkle Skin ~ The star amongst exfoliators!

Advantages: Effective, won't irritate skin, value for money, lasts for ages, great for fake tans
Disadvantages: The smell is perhaps an acquired scent

...exfoliator since! Sparkle skin by Clinique is available to buy in either a squeezy tube or a tub, although having tried both I would say that the tub lasts significantly longer than the tube. Having been converted to using fake tan after a bad experience in both the sun and on a sun-bed that was too hot, I decided the way forward was to fake it and from this I would also need a good exfoliator that would go the distance ~ Sparkle skin certainly ...
...ranges then consultants at the Clinique counters are more than happy to help you out, and more often than not they will give you free samples to try before you buy or alternatively for stores that are on Bonus Time, you are normally able to get a free GWP (Gift With Purchase) when buying any 2 products. This can be great because as a regular Clinique user, I've had many GWPs as different shops alternate when they do them (usually the major department ...

This made my skin sparkle

Advantages: A God send for suffers of in-growing hairs
Disadvantages: I can't fault it

...tend to stop at the Clinique stand. They are renowned for their no nonsense approach to beauty products. You will not find their items including crushed pearls or dried watermelon just for saleability and consumer appeal. Their items are simple and honest and it is the same with this exfoliating cream. But I will say that simplicity does not mean that their products are of cheap quality. It is quite the opposite. This product for example is allergy ...
...It comes in the classic Clinique green colours. The pot is quite large 250ml which costs £16.50. My tub has almost finished and I have been using it regularly for about six months. I suffer from in-growing hairs and so I need to have a good exfoliator to prevent them. I have used other creams such as the Original Source Mint and Tee Tree Scrub which was far too powerful and left my skin red and sore. This scrub gets the balance just right. I have ...

Review of Clinique Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliator

Exfoliates body, but doesn't sparkle

Advantages: Great smell, lasts a long time
Disadvantages: A little harsh, body didn't sparkle

If you've read the Clinique body cream I wrote, you'll already know that I bought this as part of a twin pack! £16.50 on it's own, in case you're planning to buy it! This exfoliator comes in a 250ml tub; the product is blue, showing through the clear plastic tub, with a silver lid-very chic and sits nicely alongside my body cream! It polishes rough, dry areas such as elbows, knees, etc. It smoothes and refreshes the skin with it's refreshing smell. ...
...is nothing special about this Clinique one! It is really good at making your skin feel slightly softer and much cleaner-especially good for summer, when you're bearing your limbs! If you have not tried this, then I suggest you do-you won't be disappointed because it is a high quality product, if a tad expensive! It contains salicylic acid, which means that it gets rid of dead skin cells more thoroughly-just in case you're interested this ingredient ...

~Like silver dancing, darting in the sun~

Advantages: ~Beautiful skin that shines through~
Disadvantages: ~You'll have to beat the guys off with a stick~

On one of my seasonal trips to Clinique®, I noticed that they had some new (to me) skin care products in. I inquired about one in particular and the sales lady jumped at the chance. "It's is great during the summer! This smoothes all of your dead-dry skin away, leaving behind the fresh, young skin beneath!" What was this? Nature 101? Being an avid surfer, swimmer, scuba diver and beach-goer, I realize how nasty my skin can begin to appear. HOWEVER, ...
...does the trick. I bent beneath the pressure at the Clinique® counter this time. It was the Clinique® Bonus Buy time (free gift with a purchase of $19.50 USD or more), so I bought this, got my 'free' gift, and left the mall with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment. When I got home and opened my cute little Clinique® bag, I rushed to the bath to try my new stuff out. (I always feel like a kid on Christmas when I get something new.) I had a date ...

Just Great

Advantages: This is a decent product that smells nice and is easy to use, longlasting anfd leaves your skin feeling fresh and smooth and soft.
Disadvantages: It is not perfumed as with all clinique products so does not interfere with your perfume but also does not really have a distinctive smell.

...its brand this is another clinique product which is very lovely, luxurious, easy to use, not sticky or smelly but fragrant and refreshing. It left my skin feeling soft and smooth as glowing which was good! It does not leave any residue on the skin after use and allows moisturiser to absorb well into the skin. It is rather espensive but if you are clever with your purchases from clinique they often do a bonus time promotion where if you buy two products ...
...as it allows you to try some new products and perfume as well as normally getting a make up bag, brushes, lipstick or other mini product. That is how i came to try this exfoliator but i would now buy it because i liked its effect. It also lasts a long time as it is reccomended use once or twice a week and a little goes a long way. ...

This scrubs up well

Advantages: Wonderful smell & really works
Disadvantages: Pricey!

This is not a cheap product but if you feel like treating yourself, it’s a great one to buy. It has a wonderfully uplifting minty smell & leaves your skin feeling smooth & soft. It’s particularly good to use on your back (with someone’s help) & leaves you feeling very refreshed & clean. The cream lasts pretty well as it comes in quite a large tub and a little goes a long way – I’ve had my for ages & tend to use it when I’ve had a hard day & feeling ...

Sparkly Skin For Me

Advantages: Looks good, Feels great
Disadvantages: Can be expensive

...liquid with a large silver Clinique logo on it. You can't miss it on the shelf. It looks like luxury and it is. It's been a favourite of mine for about three years now . The package says on it "Allergy Tested. 100% Fragrance Free" I've certainly never had any problems using it but I wouldn't say It was fragrance free. The fragrance is very slight but it does have a detectable whiff of freshness about it that I find quite pleasant, but as I say, not ...
...you want to know what it actually does. Well, the idea is that you rub the grainy lotion into your skin in a circular motion and it helps strip away all the dead skin cells leaving your skin underneath all smooth and refreshed. I use it a couple of times a week with a body mitt and feel as if it helps keep the dreaded cellulite in check and also improves circulation which is one of the reasons for exfoliating in general rather than using this particular ...

Not So Sparkly Skin

Advantages: Great exfoliator, tub lasts ages
Disadvantages: might be a bit coarse

...is very good value for Clinique whose products are generally quite pricy. It has a very fresh smell but is not too strong or overpowering. Clinique often do a 'bonus time' promotion which if you buy 2 or more products you get a free gift bag full of trial size Clinique products. I usually wait until the promotion is on in my local Boots to go and stock up on Clinique. Highly recommended. ...

Review of Clinique Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliator

The Bees Knees

Advantages: Smooth skin
Disadvantages: None

I cannot speak highly enough about this product. It really is one of the best exfoliators I've ever tried. There is also a deep comfort moisturiser (see my review on it!) and a body wash available in the same range. All three products work in conjunction with each other to leave your skin looking radiant. The exfoliating grains are quite big and there are plenty of them. They easily remove dead and dry skin from your body, but at the same time this ...
...use this product on my face in very small amounts, which I don't think you are supposed to do, but it worked really well! The grains rinse off fairly easily, to reveal soft and supple skin. The product leaves your skin with a fresh scent and seems to really condition your skin and doesn't dry it out, as some exfoliators have a tendancy to do. I applied the product quite generously when exfliating my body and seemed to use loads of it. But panic ...

Review of Clinique Sparkle Skin Body Exfoliator

Scrub & Sparkle

Advantages: smells great, exfoliates well
Disadvantages: not the cheapest product on the market

This product was a christmas gift from a colleague and, although I’m a great fan of all things Clinique, it’s not one I’d tried before. It is a 250ml tub which I understand retails around £15-17. The exfoliator comes in typically-clinique stylish packaging, and the product itself is a pale blue colour with quite a strong peppermint smell, which is very refreshing. The granules in the scrub are quite course, but not too harsh for sensitive skins ...
...exfoliation, but I even have used this product on my face before with just a gentle circular motion and never had any problems. It has never caused any dry patches, although I do usually slather on some thick moisturiser after exfoliating, so I’m unsure whether this would be a problem if you preferred not to moisturise in this way. In the shower the product lathers quite nicely, and a little goes a long way, which is good as this obviously isn’t ...

Its serves the purpose !

Advantages: Refreshing
Disadvantages: expensive

...bought the product was that Clinique is itself such a reputed company in body care since years. I wanted an exfoliator that not only acts as a scrub, but also refreshes and cleans the body removing its dead cells and giving it a finishing touch. And clinique's body exfolitor just served the purpose. The good thing about it is the minty cooling effect after a bath. My skin is sensitive, and I have never had problems with this product regardings skin ...

As a cancer patient I have very big problems with extremely dry skin from the drugs. This skin needs exfoliating-but with something that doesn't take off the top layer! Bit pricey but works

Advantages: great product that works
Disadvantages: pricey

Clinques body exfoliater is rather pricey so I would not recommend it as an every day purchase its more of your lets treat my self purchase on a day when you need a bit of pampering! well thats how I came to buy a bottle of it any way! It's a really good exfoliator - not too harsh bot not too soft on your skin either! It leaves your skin feeling clean , refreshed and smooth. You do need quite alot of the stuff for it to work though. At £12 a tube ...
