Clinique bill this as "skin's most complete defense against the visible signs of aging in a daily moisturiser" and claim that it "fights the effects of emotional stress, which can damage skin with effects much like sun and pollution. Helps neutralize UVA and UVB." I do like my moisturisers to contain a high SPF and at SPF 25 this was the main attraction of this moisturiser for me.
It comes in 3 different varieties - ... ...used as part of the Clinique 3 step routine or on its own. It does provide a good base for make-up and does seem to stop my make-up being absorbed into the skin. There is a very slight scent to the product slightly camomile ish and ever so slightly clinical - like all Clinique products there are no artificial fragrances added.
However, I am going to have to go against the grain here and say that I just don't see the "triple moisturising" effect ...

...and tubes found on the clinique counter you can find the Superdefense Triple Action Moisturiser. For those of you not familiar with clinique, a lot of their products come in different formulas to suit your skin type. To find your personal skin type pop over to one of the clinique counters (found in larger Boots stores, Debenhams, House of Frazer, John Lewis and many other large department stores) or go to their website (www.clinique.co.uk). Superdefense ... ...box that is typical of clinique you are greeted by a silver lidded jar with a base that is made up of a silver jar surrounded by a clear casing which makes the product look good when displayed on the shelf in the bathroom. The product inside is a thick cream that is easily absorbed by the skin, with little scent due to being fragrance free (but who wants a moisturiser that completes with the smell of your favourite perfume!)

Advantages: Great moisture level, refreshing, rehydrating, SPF15 Disadvantages: Expensive.

In my opinion this moisturiser is quite pricey, about €50 per 200ml but it does last about 3 months. I now buy it online from an English cosmetics company for roughly half the price which makes it much more affordable for me. ...The official price on the Clinique website is £32.00 for 50ml, £24.00 for 30ml. It's produced for three skin types: for very dry skin, normal to dry skin, and normal to oily skin.
It also has a factor 25 SPF, to protect skin from the sun.
