Advantages: Easy to use, well presented, nice consistency Disadvantages: Could smell better. Discontinued and replaced with a newer model
It was Clinique Bonus time at Boots, and although I only went in to buy a moisturiser I came out with a couple of other extras including a tub of Clinique Turnaround 15-Minute Facial. I've been using Clinique products for a while now and it's a brand I trust. The staff at the Clinique counters at Boots are always really helpful, full of great suggestions and tips. So when I asked about face masks they recommended this one and I thought I'd give it ... ...this with microdermabrasion. ===Presentation=== Clinique Turnaround 15-Minute Facial comes in a blue 50ml tub with a silver lid. It also has a cover under the lid to stop the product from drying out. As with most luxury comestics it also comes in a box, which in my opinion is completely unnecessary as it goes straight in to the recylcing bin. It has no instructions printed on the tub. Rather they are in a paper sticker underneath (or on the paper ...

Advantages: Makes skin smooth without tingling or tightening. Disadvantages: Hard to apply. Expensive.
I tried this around a friend's house during a girly night in, I decided to buy myself some because I liked the effect it had on my skin.
The packaging is clinique's usual simple style.
The instructions are a bit scary - you are warned to avoid your hairline or eyebrows! So I put it on very carefully and took my time, which I guess adds to the pampering. The product is what I can only describe as gloop. It is very hard to smooth on your face to ... ...it is transparent so you can't see very easily where you have put it.
Once on it feels very comfortable, perhaps a little tight but not really noticable at all. It is 100% fragrance free so there is no girly smell to it. As the name suggests you leave this on for 15 minutes, then you can either rub the excess product off with your fingers, or wash it off with a warm face cloth. I used the cloth because I couldn't tell if I'd got it off with my fingers.

Advantages: A nice treat Disadvantages: Not really worth the money
I bought this face mask as a little pick me up treat (it cost £25 for 50ml from boots)
The face mask itself is really, really gooey and thick and because of this reason I found it slightly harder to apply than other face masks.
Also the fact that it said not to get it near your eyebrows and hairline scared me slightly, I had to apply this with great care, I was scared it was going to make my eyebrows fall out or change colour!
It also made my ... ...moisturiser after it, but it did not make my face tingle or feel sensitive when I had it on. This is a good product, it did make my skin feel cleaner, and it is nice to have an expensive face mask to apply for a pick me up. But for the price of it, and compared to other face masks I have used, I don't know whether I will get this particular one again. I didn't feel my skin was as clean and smooth as when I have used, for example, a clay mask. This ...
