Having tried a few Clinique products and being left disappointed that they didn’t work as well as I’d expected, I’ve always avoided, despite many attempts by several friends to ‘convert’ me, trying the Clinique 3 Step System. I can't understand why so many people think that soap is a good thing to the skin.... Isn't that obvious that the soap dries the skin out? Isn't that clear? My main skin issues are redness, dryness in areas and very visible pores. Lately my skin has been looking worse, so I thought I'd give Clinique a go. I went into my local Boots and got a Type II pack of samples of the 3-step system. About a week ,on my skin is flaky, especially between my eyebrows and on my chin. I've come to the conclusion that this must be due to the soap - after application it would make my face feel itchy and irritated. The cleanser caused some discomfort but the Clinique advisor told me this is normal. NOT RECOMMENDED, at least for those who have similar combination skin to mine. ...
