Advantages Advantages Tastes wonderful and advertized in warm, fuzzy ways

Disadvantages Disadvantages Calories in the non-diet versions. Some say it's addictive.

When I was a preschooler back in the Fabulous Fifties, there were few, if any, superhighways in Indiana. Therefore, the 90-mile drive from our home in Anderson to the village of Cunot where Grandpa and Uncle George lived included going (and returning) through the heart of Indianapolis. There were certain must-sees/must-dos for me on those excursions. For example, no trip was complete without a stop at White Castle, either on the way there, on the way back, or both. This is a story in itself, so I'll save it for when I write about those little square burgers in the near-future. Another example ... more

Fillings, fillings, fillings - That is all Mr Dexter, my dentist says to me these days - 'you'll get fillings if you don't stop drinking that stuff'. Then, for the hundredth time, he tells me to put a tooth in a glass of Coca-Cola and leave it their overnight and, then, the tooth will be no more. I know it will ruin my teeth but I don't care because I am addicted to Coca-Cola and think I need help. ADVERTISEMENTS The advertisements for Coke are there to re-emphasise the product - we all know it, we've probably all drunk it. They are not resting on their laurels in light of their strong place ... more

The actual saying goes “Have a coke and a smile” but is this right. I am really sorry to being the bearer of bad news to all of us Cola Cola drinkers. The Coca Cola Company was founded in 1886 and has since established itself as the world’s largest producer of non-alcoholic beverages and with sales in over 200 countries worldwide. Many of us may know that when Coca-Cola was originally launched it contained a tiny quantity of cocaine and thus the name “Coke” arises. Subsequently this was removed but are we safe. Well please let me provide you with some startling ... more

Advantages Advantages It's Coca-Cola! (So five *s for the drink)

Disadvantages Disadvantages It's an awful ad campaign and the drink's addictive. (So 1* for the campaign)

I don't understand why Coca-Cola even bother with advertisements any more. It's been the world's best-selling soft drink for years and is likely to remain so for the forseeable future. If you believe the current campaign, the drink will make an okayish looking guy catch the eye of a pretty girl on an escalator (although she's blatantly only interested in his can), and an English bloke stay awake on American public transport, while his new-found friends wander off into the land of nod. What it won't tell you is that it will make your children hyperactive, rot your teeth and, if drunk in ... more

Advantages Advantages A good company with good ideas

    Disadvantages Disadvantages pricey drinks!

I have drunk Coca-Cola since I can remember. When I was at primary school they used to cost 29p a can and 55p a bottle! This is a far cry from then, as now I open the fridge in a shop and see that cans of drink can cost from 45p to 55p. Even considering inflation this is down right out of order! Not that this is all on Coca-Cola’s fault! All soft drink companies have raised their prices dramatically! Now days people are more likely to take a bottle of drink to the football than buy a can of drink! Full credit to Coca-Cola though! Recently they ran their online auction with ringpulls, and my ... more

Advantages Advantages makes me feel priviliged

    Disadvantages Disadvantages very short

There's a new Coke advert on t.v. now and it revolves around the actual feeling of happiness. I find this very hopeful and although coca cola is a muli million company i think that at last a company has decided to sell itself on the simple pleasures of life. It shows a 20 year old something with his friends in New York. It's his night there and everyone else are sleeping on a night train when he's awake thinking how much fun he's had there and how much he's going to miss his friends. It's very simple and only lasts a few minutes but it actually effects me when it comes on, making me realise ... more

    Advantages Advantages Kids like it

Disadvantages Disadvantages Chemicals in it, bad for teeth

Although Coca-Cola is the biggest soft drinks seller in the UK, people don't realise the damage it is doing... It contains a huge amount of sugar and acids which when tested dissolved a single tooth in thirty minutes - That's right a glass of Coke dissolves a tooth in half an hour! Yet parents give it to their kids and spend money to make the Coca-Cola Company incredibly rich! It also contains a number of artificial chemicals and caffeine, which I don't believe kids should be brought up on - how can chemicals be good for growing children? These chemicals are listed as numbers with an E prefix ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very nice

Disadvantages Disadvantages it gets tateless if you have too much of it.

Cherry Coke is made by the Coca Cola Company. On appearance it just looks like another cheap company trying to make a big impression on the market. The can design is a wacky sort of way to advertise the product, but it makes it stand out from the rest of the fizzy soft drinks on the shelves. The image of the drink has changed in the last five years to this more modern one. I have never ever seen an advertisement on cherry coke so I wonder if they don’t think it worth advertising it because of some very small sales or maybe the opposite either way I hope cherry coke stays for ever. The ... more

    Advantages Advantages celebrating christmas

Disadvantages Disadvantages dont show advert during the other 11 months

Ok, so everyone that has written an opinion in this catergery has written about coka-cola itself and not the advert. Well I'm going to write about that advert. Coka-cola only show their adverts at Christmas time because on the advert they have a big lorry all covered in bright lights and everyone is watching it coming to their town or city. I don't really understand why the company only show the adverts at christmas, you would think that they want people to buy the product all year round but they are at an advantage with everyone already knowing about the product. The advert isn't that special ... more

    Advantages Advantages Very desirable

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Not applicable

Coca-cola is the best drink in my opinion available on the market. It's unique packaging makes it stand out from the rest (red with a coca-cola top logo). Coca-cola is very high in calories due to the sugar and does include a huge amount of caffiene. Therefore, coca-cola should be consumed in small quantities. Perhaps a couple of glasses a day is reasonable. Coca-cola is sold worldwide in almost every country you could possibly imagine. The general price for a 330 ml can will cost between 40p and 50p. A 500 ml bottle will cost between 65p to 80p depending on special offers. A 2 l bottle will ... more
