Advantages Advantages quick and easy to use - before the strange species moves off!

Disadvantages Disadvantages missing caterpillars and other young

I have been trying not to write a review for a while but to learn more from the experts – but then I saw this book. Advantages Advantages Photos are excellent

Disadvantages Disadvantages Some things hard to identify, such as caterpillars are not shown

    Advantages Advantages small size

    Disadvantages Disadvantages drawings, not photographs

This little book is excellent for people who like to name the animals and birds that they see in walks in the country side. This book covers everything from flowers and insects to birds and mammals. Marine life is covered too. Each different species is given a paragraph of text together with a colour drawing. This makes identifying what you have seen relatively easy. The book is as comprehensive as it can be with only 256 pages covering the whole of the wildlife of Britain, but most of the common species are covered. A good value buy for those interested in wildlife. ... more
